Super Dinosaur? More like... Dr. Dinosaur. As in, he looks a lot like him.

Every comic with a dinosaur in modern day is straight ripping off Denver the last dinosaur.

Actually, what's hilarious is that if you replaced every instance of "dinosaur" with "robot" then Super Dinosaur would be damn near identical to what the original take on Atomic Robo was, Kung Fu Robo Fighter Zeta.
Kid science hero taking up his dad's fight; secret underground robot city; big crazy battles with robot/monsters; etc. It was like that because I was trying to make it as marketable as possible. As I never published the details of KFRFZ, Super Dinosaur's similarities are just a huge coincidence. No harm, no foul. In fact, I suspect the similarities stem from one simple fact: we were both trying to produce something as marketable as possible. Robo moved away from "mass marketability" because those elements of it bored the hell out of me. Gotta say: I wonder how many times the phrase "the next Ben 10" came up when collaborating on Super Dinosaur. I'm guessing about as many times as "the next Dexter's Lab" did on proto-Robo. I wish them luck.
