What's new in Ghost in the Shell 2.0 ?

I just found out about the new version of the original "Ghost in the Shell" movie. I liked it when I saw it "back in the day".

But does this 2.0 version add or change much in the story? Or is it like when Star Wars was remastered? (i.e.- not much, just FX).

Probably and mostly likely just improved/redone scenes in HD/3D and added deleted scenes and extended scenes.

From reviews alone its essentially just the Directors cut version
