D&D Part Deux - Smarty McBarrelpants' D&D extravaganza
For those who wish to play in a D&D game and can't due to nikoses game being full SmB will be running a game assuming we can get to 3-4 players. as it stands currently we have two. So basically any takers?

I assume it will be UK time (GMT+1 now I guess, summertime and such) evenings. I'm still interested to join, but I will need help setting up a character.

help setting up a character should be fine. If you have an IM client of some sort I will forward the details onto Smb

I'd be intereste dif not for the fact that I have final exams in a month and will thus disappear for a two-week period.
Nonetheless it'd be flippin' awesome if I could join a second game around mid-May once I'm done with this year's law school responsibilities.

Questions!?
The D&D version being run will be 3.5 with basically every single book availible to be used. basically though if you powergame like mad so will the GM only the GM can powergame better :P
I wouldn't imagine SMB would be adverse to adding more players assuming the group doesn't become to full i'm not sure what the limits would be though. |

Didn't see this you sneaky cad.
Campaign will be 3.5 set in Faerun with basically any source book available build whatever you want but if its stupid I make sad faces at you. And if its powergaming I'll get out my red manila folder, you don't want me to get that out. Style of play is variable, I tend to favour RP hevy with bursts of combat- I also tend to avoid single plots, I just craft worlds and stack them full of evil shit so PCs can do what they want. I have giant evil calendars of when big bad 2 goes to massacre a town or secretely sneaks into the high castle. It's good times. That said I've also DMed continual hack and slash slaughterfests quite well so mostly he plan is to run a few sessions and figure out what the players like and then run with it. Should also point out all my DMing experience has been live and never done an online game before so maybe shakey as a mofo. |

How is that not a better idea in every conceivable way, I ask you?

Evil campaigns are actually a lot harder to handle then you would think. It's way too easy for it to devolve into a glorified game of FATAL if the game isn't done well, and you don't have reasonably mature players. And sandbox games already have their own inherent set of problems.
