El Caballero De La Noche Ascendio: Viral Marketing
So apparently "viral" marketing has begun for The Dark Knight Rises (I am not sure how it is viral marketing to post an image from the film on the official website, but uh...okay?)
Tom Hardy as Bane Mask kind of looks like a gas mask, maybe Venom is in a gaseous form and he breathes Venom in through that apparatus there. Any other "viral" marketing found on the internets to be posted? EDIT: BTW if you're confused about the title of this thread, the Mexican bootleg of The Dark Knight was entitled "El Caballero De La Noche", which literally translated is "The Knight of the Night". Bane is Latino. Basically Punniness at all levels, here. Better puns are welcome.

i don't like the fact that his eyes are exposed. But having a Gas mask makes more sense than a Liquid (the original Venon was liquid, right?) Having it as some sort of Super Steroid/Adrenalin makes it fit in the Nolanverse. Also probably means a return of Scarecrow's alchemy.
So, Latino, right? I'm guessing Underground Wrestler/MMA/Fight Club storyline coming up... |

I don't think so, Bane doesn't roll in the Fight Club circuit in the comics or anything...not that it seems out of possibility, but if he's gonna be a major villain I don't think they're just going to make him some thug, they'll probably try to capture the tactical side of the character.
EDIT: I hope they come up with a new backstory for the character though since the comic one never made any sense that I could figure out, at least why he's in prison never made any sense.

Well, i would say it's highly likely (if they keep Scarecrow) that we will have pretty much a rehash of the Second Hulk movie, where the Genetic Warrior goes Berserk and Rogue...
The one consistency in all new Batman movies is that Batman is the least interesting character in screen every time. and it's Not even because of Bale, he does a fine job, it's just the way they write the character... |

I'm actually learning about these verbs in class this week.
Waitaminute...
surely if it's "The Dark Knight Rises", present tense, it would be "El Caballero De La Noche Ascende"? /Spanish 121 student

As far as i care they can call it "El Perro Amarillo Con Queso" as long as they Fix the goddamn batsuit!
I mean, c'mon, it took Batman 2 movies for him to go "Oh fuck! I need Neck movement!" and he is a trained ninja that chooses to use a Big ass cape, except that he use it for the most impractical of uses... as a High Tech Glider! Instead of using it as a ninja would, as a Shroud to conceal his hands so he can catch enemies unguarded with stuff from his belt and confuse the enemies with this cape as he fights them.... I'd watch that movie.
Also, I think they would name it "El Ascenso del Caballero de la Noche"...then again, many movies have names which aren't related to the original title like "Terror en la Montaña" (Terror in the Mountain) aka, Frozen. There are worse examples but, I really disliked that movie so, it was the first one I thought about.
