I don't know if this is a remake, but if it is, it's one I can stand to see. Amy Adams being silly in a romantic comedy, nostalgia... It's gonna be neat.

It's not a remake, just a new movie in the same vein as the originals.
I'm kinda surprised you hadn't heard of this before. They've been talking about making it ever since Forgetting Sarah Marshall came out.

I... hate it. I... As much as I loved the muppets back when I was a kid. Just from seeing this trailer, I already hate this movie.

EDIT: Like, honestly, I think it's a clever way to sell Jason Segel being in a Muppet movie. You start watching, thinking "oh god this looks terrible and trite" and then BAM Muppets, and your curiosity's piqued.
