mIrAcLeS Fond Kid Memories

I was thinking on something and wondered enough to pose this.

This was the time of year when we probably drove our parents/grandparents nuts growing up. I know I did mine. *** Birthday and Xmas in the same month? *evil smile* And I started to wonder what some of my fondest memories of my childhood were in games/tv/movies/books and wondered to ask the same of you guys.

So what were you fondest things from your times growing up? Here's some of mine to start.

Books

The Way Things Work
Raptor Red

TV

Knight Rider
Street Hawk
Airwolf
He-Man/She-Ra (There is an awesome X-Mas special with the two out there and it is awesome!)
Little Nessies (Not much for kids on Armed Forces Network back than so we sometimes got the signal in for Sky Channel)
Care Bears
Gen1 Transformers
Voltron (This may have something to do with my love of Mecha animes)
GI Joe

Games

God, this list could take up forever. Let's just say my fondest memories were spent after 1991 with a little gray toy that changed gaming forever...the original Gameboy w/ Tetris! *** Years later (as a Senior in HS), I'd get sucked into Pokemon on the same system.

Movies

ALL the Star Trek (Was to every single one made between IV and IX in the theaters)
Fantasia
The Last Starfighter
The Neverending Story (I seriously think that Resheram looks like Falcor)

There is probably more but you get the idea. So...let's see what you guys put out there as your fondest memories growing up so far? I'll be waiting and also...

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays for all you TTGL fans here.

I was gonna write this off as one of those list threads I don't have to post in, but then,

Oh, man, what a book. They need to teach this book in elementary school, man. People would be so much easier to explain stuff like how to roll their car out of a ditch if they understood simple levers and what "work" means in a mechanical sense.

Here's some non-cheesecake santa from which my avatar comes:
