Search Function needs love.

I'm pretty sure I've made this exact request in the past, but here I go again.

I appear to have broken the forum again for a brief time by attempting to search by content Relevancy. I would like to know if there's a particular reason why searching in this manner causes the forum to shit itself? And more to the point, can we fix this and just make Relevancy the default option when searching? Because last-posting-date is really quite useless most of the time.

I just made a search like that and nothing bad happened :/

The options I modified were:

Relevancy
I specified the poster's name
Search by posts

Which I suppose redirects my query to "why won't the Search function work right for me and how do I fix it?"

I'd like to protect what little reputation I've got left, but really, the Search tool is pretty simple.

But I don't get how searching for something can make the forums explode. Might be a problem with your machine.

No, I get it happening too, and I figured it was the server dying from a higher workload, processor-wise.

Even after I learned, grew up, and came to be on the right side of a lot of important issues, I was still angry, abrasive, and generally increased the amount of hate in the world, in pretty unacceptable ways.
