Serious Voter Fraud is damn near nonexistant

So everyone knows how the biggest concern of this election is voter fraud? Well, there is now a database that looked at every state and how many cases in the nation are of voter fraud:

Link

Quote:
This database contains all cases reported to News21 of alleged election fraud across America since 2000.

...

The nation has 2,068 cases of alleged election fraud since 2000. By category, Unknown had the highest percentage of accused at 31 percent (645 cases), followed by Voters at 31 percent (633 cases). The most prevalent fraud was Absentee Ballot Fraud at 24 percent (491 cases). The status of most cases was Pleaded at 27 percent (558 cases).
In other words, all of those voter ID laws? All of the restrictions on your right to vote that went into effect from Bush passing the "Help America Vote" act that worked to get fraudulent machines into the hands of the people? All for nothing. Out of millions of people, we barely have a voter fraud problem. We do have an election fraud problem that has gone unnoticed while the poor can't get the IDs needed to vote.

And depending on the day and location, the sky is wet and water is blue.

It's always been a rather ridiculous fear that seemed mostly predicated on the idea that 14 million illegal immigrants are somehow going to be good enough to get through the entire registration process and then somehow be prevented from voting at the polls. If they're that intent on voting they will just get fake IDs.

Of course, the idea that any of them want to risk getting deported by trying to register is ridiculous on its face, but anyway..,

No the fear is predicated on "Hey lets just disenfranchise poor people" not any actula fear.

Er, the fear of the ignorant Republican base that they use to do the disenfranchisement, I mean.
