AJAX Sounds Keep Self-Muting

This has been a problem for awhile but I kept forgetting to bring it up.

Any time I enter the AJAX chat, all the sounds for chat notifications (incoming message, user log-in/out, etc) keep automatically setting themselves to silence.

No idea why it's happening, but I know I'm not the only one. It's terribly bothersome. Could someone fix it and, perhaps, make it so that these particular settings actually save to my profile?

AjaxChat doesn't really have much development support anymore. There are a few different chat sound-related bugs, such as nothing playing if you use Chrome and Firefox [though sounds seem to be fine in IE]. *shrug* Sucks, I guess, if you liked the sounds.
