Offshore tax haven email leak

tl;dr A shit load of info from a tax haven has been leaked. turns out around 23 trillion + of untaxed income and assorted other wealth is being hidden. ultra tl;dr conclusion (not really) expect some nominally wealthy tax dodgers (around 1-10 million net worth) to get prosecuted and scape goated whilst the ultra rich 100 million+ net worth get away scott free by using their armies of lawyers to keep proceedings from ever touching them (they will also threaten to move their companies over seas) So in theory this should lead to massive tax income for the uk and other nations that have been robbed of their rightful tax intake... In practice expect all of these nations to try and do anything BUT act upon the information.. hopefully we can eventually get the leaked information, personally I wouldn't mind performing some vigilante killings on these twisted evil fucks. Every bit of tax they've dodged is a person dieing poor and hungry...

Not bad.

Man I have trouble even fathoming that much money. And while the Virign Islands was one of the bigger tax havens, it is only A tax haven. If we were to add up the amount of untaxed income around the world, we are probably talking more than 100 trillion at least. And fuck.

We should just kill and eat the rich. bunch of evil parasitic scum. I would have zero problems with rounding them all up and hanging them one after another, I'd make a public spectacle of it. double edit: We are talking way more than 100 trillion globally. There are more than twenty known existing LARGE tax havens. The scale of theft and corporate plundering of society is of such a scale it's almost impossible to conceptualize. With this much money you could remove all fossil fuel usage from the world in one year. You could feed every person in the entire world...

The revolution will be memed!

You could already feed everyone who isn't currently fed with the food that we throw away each year. Just another example of how capitalism is anything but efficient or fair.

Archer and Armstrong vs. the World

I'd like to see the tax haven books for Cyprus next. Half the issue with their latest bank crisis is that it's a tax haven for all the Russian oligarchs.
I'm surprised more Western European countries never did. The British actually got around to chopping off Charles' head for trying to sell off the wealth of the nation but then idiotically brought back their royalty just because the also didn't like Cromwell (not because he committed near genocide on the Irish, though). Think they all could have just put a third jerk in there, and a fourth, and a fifth, etc. as each one successively got their head cut off. Instead I have to watch multi-hour boat parades when one of the royals get married, and the British oligarchs, like our oligarchs, steal all the money and then institute austerity measures on the poor.
