I spotted this last week, and have yet to hear anything new on it, but I thought it was fairly interesting... Sky Warrior Bob

Now... tell me if I got something wrong here... but looking at it it seems that the Democrats tried to pass laws pushing back the registration deadline, but the republicans x-d it because it would, god forbid, allow voters to register fourteen days before saying it wouldn't give the county clerks enough time. Now, to totally understand how retarded this is, realize that I, along with quite a few other 18 year olds, registered to vote the DAY I voted last presidential election and my state didn't have any problems.
So, now, the republicans miss the deadline to register, and they have to go through the court system, which will probably allow them on the ballot anyway, but instead of just doing that they're throwing a hissy fit? You know, despite the fact that it's their own fault they missed it, and their own fault it wasn't pushed back. Again, if I misunderstood something tell me. It's early and I'm tired yet, so I may have misread... because that all seems pretty ridiculous.
