Animated Avatars

At the risk of sounding like an idiot or an ass, possibly even both . How the fugg do you make these animated avatars? And can you make me one with a space monkey?

They are flashes. Try www.avatarity.com to find ya one if no one around here will make you one.

EDIT: I searched and found no space monkeys. Did find a monkey picking his nose and sporting an uzi though.

I search around on sites n stuff...you'll be amazed at the stuff you'll find on a site you normaly aattend but overlook b/c you go straight for something else...

Actually, they aren't flashes. They're .gif files. Basically, you make each frame using paint or photoshop or whatever, then use a gif animation program to animate them. You can look on the net for a free gif animator or you can just make the frames and get somebody else (like me!) to animate them.
