Fighter would win. Look at how many times Black Mage has tried to kill him! It's obvious that if Fighter ever tried, BM would be on the floor begging for mercy.

I'd have to go with Fighter, the statistics and odds are against BM, as Zonasiy said, look how many times he's tried to kill Fighter before, stabbing, head wounds, blasting with the Hadoken, I think Fighter is too ignorant to die from an attack of BM, he believes so strongly that BM would never hurt him, that the attacks don't hurt him. Besides that...I think that Fighter's armor is enchanted against magic attacks, and it too thick for stabbing.

Fighter knows that Bm has tried countless times to kill him, but is not one to hold a grudge, against his best friend anyways. For this reason, I would have to say that no one would win, BM tries as he will, but can't leave a scratch, He would probably do better had he followed Thief's advice, instead of stabbing in a downward motion, he should stab in an upward motion, but still, it would not work, sure, BM might shove his knife up his skull, through his jaw, but that's nothing a little sleep would fix, is it? Fighter is as Chargos said, too ignorant to die from an attack of BM, he believes so strongly that BM would never hurt him, that the attacks don't hurt him. And his armor is enchanted, against FIRE, the dragon in Kary's volcano forged it for him then RM killed it...yeah.
In short, BM can't, but tries anyway, hurt Fighter, and Fighter WON'T hurt BM.
