Guild Wars MMORPG with no monthly fee?
Guild Wars, my friend has been pressuring me to get this game. Has anyone here played it? how does it compare to other MMO games?

i played the free weekend beta test thing they had a while ago. it was only two or three days that i had to work with the game, so don't take this as absolute.
i found it to be pretty boring, but i think i missed much of the point while playing it, i only played the adventure portion of it, and not the PvP aspect. im more of a traditionalist when it comes to rpgs, so the prospects of playing an rpg that minimilizes the importance of levels, equipment, and skill learning aren't very apealing to me. i'm interested to see how thier pay structure will work out. they say they'll only charge for new content additions they put out, but i'm wondering 1) how often, and how large these updates will be 2) if anyone will buy them.

basically thing Diablo III, it's made by the company that WAS Blizzard north that made DII. and that's what it feels like, it seems like DII but instead of having chat rooms, you have cities, and from the cities you meet up with teams and have your instances. It's pretty boring low level, but I expect it get better at high level much like DII did, which DII high level was amazing.
