Prespective Practice
Feels a bit off but it looks alright. Even though I forgot to draw the back of the blade.
Queen - Neat piece. Is that a bear on the lower left corner of the drawing?

It's supposed to be two people hugging. Perhaps if I fill in the outline?
But it still warms my heart that you call the picture neat.

PROTIP:Zack Finfrock, the artist of Warbot in Accounting (sorta) did cartoonism/art for years, and recently packed up and moved to LA to work as an actor instead.
Alls I'm saying is that if you do force yourself to like something there's the very real chance you're going to get sick of that something later on and do something else.

Time is something else.

Where's it said that Zack Finfrock forced himself to like drawing? He's still drawing, too. He's just working as an actor as well. Hell, most artists I know have day jobs to supplement their drawing activities.
I get where you're coming from, but that's really a crappy example.

Never said he did - just pointing out that frequently people change which direction they want to go. Forcing yourself to do something you don't really like seems like heading right down that path.

IQ - I really like the coloring in the sky. I didn't see the two people until now.
Kyanbu - Very nice work with a dynamic pose. It was refreshing to see. Waking up at 6 am because of nightmares obviously has one solution: post some stupid art meme. Everyone was doing it. I think I've improved a ton in the past years, I've worked really hard on it. Doing it made me feel a little better about my art. My end point might not be as awesome as some other people, but I think my rapid improvement makes up for it. XD

Skweeb - That collar thing of his is pretty cool. I thought of Doc Ock for a minute, but then I realized no, it's not. :P Still, awesome! And the context it's in would make for an interesting story.
Invisible Queen - I definitely liked it the first time I saw it. I also figured that those lines in the foreground were meant to be people, but I only thought it was one person. :P I really like that boat out in the distance. Kyanbu - That's a pretty cool pose, I like how you've rendered it. I'm only kinda just starting to play with different poses other than those of the the very limited "standing and looking fearsome" variety. CJ - You definitely have developed in the past few years, I'm impressed. The blue one does look pretty awesome in 2003. They kinda remind me of my own foray into the world of visual arts, except better than when I started. :P Oho, what's this?? First sketch of the year, brohams! This is Cilian, the second character in my DnD group. I - and my character - consider her the unofficial leader of our little band, she's always the one asking the NPCs the questions and generally keeping things in order. Apologies for the darkness, I was colouring this on my new monitor and it's kinda bright. As a side note, anyone know how to put a single desktop wallpaper across two monitors of differing size?

I decided to practice drawing real people and I ended up with this. I was really happy with it because the last time I tried to draw a real person, I managed to make Louis Armstrong look like Bill Cosby.
The actual drawing is a bit smaller than this, so that's why some of the lines look really close together (especially the general eye area).
