Here's the thing; nobody's as useless as an Entertainer past the first few levels. Arts don't grow from first level, and the stat arrangement has to be spread between CHA (for more un-scaling Arts), DEX or STR (for attacking not nearly as well as the Fighter), and INT (for miming spells). But, you get to be the guy who's a big ham and can maybe be the face of a group (which Truce is facilitating nicely), and that's fun. So, in this game so far, stats and battle usefulness aren't as important as liking your guy and having fun with him.

And that's my rant. I'll go over Wizcat's sheet later, though it looks okay besides the dual-wielding pistols that Prasad has been doing from the start. Someone else be sure to check up on skill points because I never do.

Yeah, Wizzle, one of the things that I like and consider kinda special about my character is how he's a moogle with purple wings and deely-boppers who's two-fisting pistols. Mind not stepping on my toes there?

That new sheet is confusing, bothersome to work with, and dosen't have fields for which langages/lore one knows.

Old one is/was friendlier...

If it will be absolutely necessary I'll adjust at level up.

There are totally fields for languages known, Naqel. Though, yeah, where are the Lore skills, Truce? I can't nit-pick everyone, you know. As for POS and Wiz, you can fight it out, I guess.

Also he doesn't have the Dual Wield ability so he can't take ranks in Two Weapons.

Purple's my favorite color, sorry (Could ya guess?). I felt somewhat bad about doing it because you already had... But, yeah. As for the guns, they're more useful than daggers and there aren't many DEX-using weapons. I'm in the middle of talking with Truce about something, though, so I might be switching from guns if it goes well. Does that help, at all?

I don't think so? I'm including both the Two Weapons and Dual Wield descriptions. 'Job weapon skill' doesn't appear anywhere else in the book, according to my search tool, so we're probably going to need Truce in here.

Two WeaponsThis Skill represents the specialized training needed for a character to fight with more than one weapon at a time, wielding a weapon in each hand. In practice, this means a character may equip a weapon in each hand, provided a Shield is not equipped and that neither is a two-handed weapon.
Two Weapons – DEX
When making an Attack Action with Two Weapons, the character rolls 3d6 instead of 2d6, and uses only the two highest dice to determine ACC – but uses all three to determine damage. In addition, he may use all of the magical properties of both of his weapons in a single attack roll.
However, their attack bonus is equal to the LOWEST skill of the ones being used - for instance, a character wanting to use a Dagger and a Katana in conjunction would need skill points in Daggers, Katanas, and Two Weapons. If he had 3 skill dots in katanas and daggers, but 0 skill points in Two Weapons, then he would make his attack roll at a +0 bonus.
Thus, there is nothing that stops characters from utilizing multiple weapons, save for the penalties if the Two Weapon skill is not possessed.

Dual WieldDual Wield - Passive
A character with this ability has received the training to use multiple weapons. They may now use the Two Weapons skill as though it was a Job weapon skill. A character who can effectively use Two Weapons gains the following benefits; First, whenever he makes an attack roll, he may roll 3d6 instead of 2d6, and drop the lowest. In addition, he may use all of the magical properties of both of his weapons in a single attack roll. However, as mentioned in the Skill section earlier, an attack made with two weapons uses the lowest skill to determine accuracy - either that of the weapons of that of the Two Weapons skill.
A Fighter with this ability may dual-wield Massive weapons as well, but does not obtain any additional damage or bonuses for doing so.

The purple's not a big deal (my commenting on it was more of a joke anyway to drive the point home) but the image of a moogle going all Il Duce or whatever with the two guns is pretty much the main appeal to Prasad for me, and if someone else comes in with the exact same bit, then I don't really feel the need to continue doing it myself. So insofar as my enthusiasm to continue in this RP is concerned, it would be pretty nice if you could go with something else, yeah.

Also, if you like purple, go for purple fur. It's legit, has you keep the red/orange(regular colored anyway) deely-bopper and makes you even more purple without stepping on POS's toes. All happy, yes?

Alright. Each class has a list of associated weapon skills. If you don't have a skill, you need to buy the proficiency with one of your job abilities. For example, Blue Mages are proficient with katanas, daggers and swords.

To purchase ranks in Two Weapons, you need the Dual Wield ability if it's not a Job weapon skill. The only job that gets the Two Weapon skill is the Ninja (but monks essentially get it for free as a special ability).
