Whatcha watchin'?
Because I'm watching several things and it's much more convenient to just post in one thread for all of them instead of posting in their individual threads or starting new ones for each one that doesn't have a thread already.
So I just finished all the available episodes of new Doctor Who. Waters of Mars was amazing, and my only complaint is I think he should have failed to save all of them because he can't beat time or something... The End of Time was watchable, but hardly worthy of being Tennant's last episode. Also, they should have kept Gallifrey and the Daleks and everything else free somehow so that Moffat could pretty much just use whatever he wanted from the original series and whatnot, rather than having to come up with a nonsense reason for how the Daleks are back yet again. I'm two episodes into Katanagatari and loving it. The episodes are each an hour long, which is awesome, the art style is nifty, and the ending theme has a bitchin' violin. The villain in the first episode is annoying, but other than that I have no real complaints. The plot is about a master of a swordless style and a strategest for the emperor collecting twelve legendary swords, and it looks like they'll maintain a pace of a sword an episode, so the plot isn't chugging slowly along. I also like the fact that they cut out the whole bullshit of "ARE THEY GONNA END UP TOGETHER" by having them decide they're in love with each other in the first episode. Durarara!! continues to be simply great, and I'm loving the characters. Selty has a lot more personality than I expected she would. I really don't have much to say about it because it is that good. Anything I said would be stating the obvious. I am also watching the second season of Junjou Romantica. The art style kind of bugs me in that the characters' lips are huge and whenever they yell their mouths are trapezoids. I also grow weary at times at some of the characters for being such terrible boyfriends to other characters, Misaki being especially guilty of this, but I like it. It's strangely addictive, funny, and I gotta love how pretty much any relationship problem in the show at some point is resolved through gay sex.

I'm still continuing with my own Doctor Who/Torchwood marathon. Just finished season 4 and currently half way through Childeren of Earth. I have a slight problem though in that I'm still missing The Next Doctor and Planet of the Dead. I may have to go back to Amazon to find them.
Once these are done I have the entire series boxset of Blackadder to start on, which I found for £20 recently. Should keep me going for a while.

Katanagatari is so good that they have to spread it out to one episode a month or Honshu would sink into the Sea of Japan. Also, it's about how to write a story, which is fun for me. I wonder if they're going to stick with this new ending every episode thing.
FMA: Bros Before Hos continues to be an entertaining 30 minutes a week, even though I already know what's going to happen. Hidamari x☆☆☆ is Hidamari. If you don't know, then you won't care. Durarara is pretty cool, but I think I need to rewatch what I've seen, since I "wasn't paying attention."

One Piece continues to amuse me. Got up to the start of the Chopper The Blue Nosed Reindeer arc, so it's been kinda slow going for me, I guess.
For some reason I still watch Family Guy and the like, but I flimsily(As in not really) justify it with the fact that American Dad actually makes a point to set itself apart from Family Guy. I'll hush up before I reveal how horribly low my standards are. |

I remembered that I've been watching Clannad just before I went to work and it's been driving me mad all day because it's so important that you guys know every cartoon I watch. Anyways, starting After Story tonight. It should be
Maybe I should just get a MAL, but I'm afraid of slipping down the slope and having a facebook, blog, twitter, checking my email, etc.

Finished Kure-Nai yesterday, should probably watch some Zetsubou Sensei today or tomorrow to cheer me up while I download Kino's Journey.
Also, Ponyo's been sitting on my comp for a week, but I want to watch that one with my sis. |

MuMu, you know how a horror film, at the end of the day, is just supposed to be scary, and screw everything else? That's Ponyo, except cute instead of scary.
I learned how to make origami goldfish because of it, though, so I'm not saying it's bad.

Taking an initial look at the next Super Sentai series, Goseiger. It's got a really weird look to it, like they combined Timeranger/Power Rangers Time Force with Dairanger (the series the Thunder Zords came from) and threw in a bit of Dynaman (old stuff) for good measure, with possibly a hint of Dekaranger/Power Rangers SPD. On the other hand, they might be able to port it, given that they managed with Go-onger as Power Rangers RPM, and I really didn't much care for those uniforms, nor did I really care for the SPD uniforms until I actually saw them in action. Shinkenger was beyond salvage due to the entire thing being plastered with Kanji, but it seems that the series is taking a more severe, angular look with the costumes again, so depending on what kids find cool in the next couple years (hopefully not the crap we grew up on as little shits, because that was pretty damn awful and now it's going to be dated and awful), we'll either get the new series, or they'll go bankrupt for trying to recycle something that wasn't even that good in the 90s. Edit: So, actually, the new costumes look REALLY good in action. I mean scarily good. There's no excuse not to bring this one over in 2011. In fact, there's no reason to re-film any of the battle footage like they had to for Jungle Fury. It's amazingly choreographed and, quite frankly, the blue ranger is a total badass. Validly. As in he is so badass that his "team attack" is just him being totally badass. Literally. The guy is awesome and has fuck-all to prove to anyone, allowing him to focus on just being naturally awesome. Edit Edit: I'll just post this. It's too early to have a sub, but anyone with a passing interest should watch it. http://www.veoh.com/search/videos/q/...813291s4Bx4GkF

Bad popular is when a show is popular but I watch it and don't like it. :(
This show is seriously one of my favorite shows of all time and anyone and everyone should watch it... Twice.
So, can you sell me on Clannad? I don't really know anything about it, other than that it's popular, and I didn't know if it was good popular or bad popular so yeah...
