no dont
...really the time to do it would be at like 6am when I walk into the bathroom still half asleep and go to brush my teeth and then be standing right behind me as I look up basically already half-terrified that this after 22 years is going to be the day that I look into the mirror and see Freddy Kruegger waiting literally inside of it to reach out and stab me in the eyes and HOLYSHIT THERE HE IS AUGH. ...Oh christ and now I'm gonna have to spend the next week shaving with my eyes closed.

I'm confident that Jackie Earle Haley can pull off Freddy Krueger. If you've ever seen Little Children, the film that got him the Oscar, you know he has the chops to pull off such a character.

It sounds like Freddy might have a bit of a speech impediment - the way he says "This won't hurt..." in the trailer sounds like he's trying to talk through pounds of make-up.

One, two, Freddy's coming for you...
Three, four, better lock your door... Five, six, grab a crucifix... Seven, eight, gonna stay up late... Nine, ten, never sleep again...

FRONT KICK OF DOOM!

There's only 3 movies in the franchise
Nightmare on Elm Street Dream Warriors New Nightmare Anything with Wes Craven is bound to be great. Out of those, I have to say New Nightmare scared the ever loving, holy water Monkey JESUS outta me. Other than that, the movies had Freddy as a goofy mofo instead of the psychopathic child killer that the first one did so well. |

New nightmare scared the hell out of me for doing for movies what the First Nightmare did for Nightmares, now, all of a sudden, what I thought was a movie is'nt even a movie!
Edit: or is that the same movie?

I think this'll be the second remake of the first movie.

No, I mean, am I properly describing the essential premise of New Nightmare?
