Speaking of Gaiman and Pratchett, this season feels a lot like Supernatural Presents "Good Omens."

Actually, given the chicken/egg comment, I'm guessing that God embodies life the same way Death embodies death. You could even put it as an order/chaos deal, with God having tried to create life that was eternal and unchanging with Eden, and Death taking the role of Satan (as in The Adversary, not Lucifer), tricking humans into screwing everything up. Death does represent change, after all.

I have got to say, that Death's intro may just be my favorite minute television ever.
The casting on the show has been great. The guys they got to play Death and Pestilence were both great. And Crowley? Man...Crowley is just so delightfully devious, he's been a great addition to the cast in the last few episodes.

Jesus freakin Monkey Balls
What the hell?? Sam is still alive some how Castiel is an ArchAngel? Chuck was God?!?!? Totally disappointed in the Actual "Showdown" which shoulda been cooler but still. Seeing Castiel explode was freakin awesome. So was Sam pounding on Dean and the importance of the Car. Though Micheal getting tossed in as well was lame. All in all though it was a good season finale.

Kind of a let down. Don't get me wrong, it was a good ending, and everything was done right, but this episode felt weaker than any of the other season finales. The whole thing seemed rushed.

Can we at least agree that Gabriel's / Trickster send off was pretty much the most awesome one possible?
Damn, i don't know if it's the writing or the casting, but everything seems to click. Every single angel works so fine tuned that i couldn't imagine a single one of them being played better by another actor. |

Anyone who gets sent off by starring i ntheir own personal porno is having the most awesome send-off possible.
Edit: As far as casting goes, I liked Lucifer's other vessel better than Sam.

In hindsight, it should have been obvious throughout this season.
