Weird moments on TV shows

[Bells]

So, as i watch this episode of "Married With Children"... Bud bundy is depressed because he can't get a date. So far so good... so he moves to the basement declaring the intent to never leave (again, par for the course with this show). Then he hears a voice saying "If you build he will come..."

That's when the WTF starts.

Bud builds a wooden arc for no reason, and while the family stays in "semi-concern", an portal for another dimension opens up in the portal and another "Cool" Bud comes out.

He decides to teach bud to be cool, when he fails (with hilarious results) he simply decides to "Merge" with the original Bundy. He takes over, consuming original Bud and the show goes on....

At this point all the laughs have been had, but years later i saw this episode again and here i am going "Ok that was... messed up i guess"

Even worse, the whole point of that episode stays somewhat in a grey area. What the hell happened? Did Bud had a Psycothic breakdown? Did he actually make a magical portal? Was that a demon? what the hell?

Either way, the WTF gets hilarious the more i think about it...
