I vaguely recall that Shiney was temp banned, about 2 forum hosting services past (on the ol' EZ board). Back when he was a massive spammer & just kept offering to eat every other posters face.

Not the most epic, sure... But as a forum mod, it kinda does rank up there.

We need a new hilarious banning on these forums. You know, one with an entire thread made by the person so badly wronged by the mods or whomever.

It shouldn't. It really, really shouldn't.

You have to realize there was time we had to deal with these people BEFORE they were banned.

I think one of my favorites was Iyeru. Not because I disliked the guy, in fact he was totally awesome to talk to in PMs, but because his thread-making habits were so incredibly bizarre that at one point the mods actually begged him to try normal spamming instead of the mind-warping stuff he was known for.

Well, not so much the idea of staying around for them to be annoying, mostly skipping straight to the point where they got banned. That just sounds pretty satisfying.
