Balls. But fair enough.

Well, let's see, I could... nah, that would be a shamelessly identical replacement. Maybe another type combination? That's going to be tough, it needs to be able to use Electric attacks.

Hmmm...

Also, did you just give me permission to make Tsujimi into an invincible rule-breaking bastard?

EDIT: Oh man wow, I think Tsujimi may be my favorite 'mon ever. Jesus Christ, what have I done?

Anyway, let's talk strategy:

Rachel: Full Restore on Impact, Max Revive on Pierce's Blaziken.
Moon: Fathom and Starmie to use Hydro Pump on Sandslash.
Pierce: Call out Tyranitar and Blaziken. Tyranistorm takes effect.
Aster: Lucario form, switch in for Matthias, Sunny Day. Tyranistorm is dispelled.
Charlotte: Spitz to use Super Fang on Crownlegs, Sol-Leks to use Overheat on Poseidon Tank.
Impact: Flamethrower on Crownlegs.
Lexhur: FIRE HIS LASER. Centered on Arceus.
Pierce: Tyranitar with Stone Edge, Blaziken with Overheat on Crownlegs. Signature Sequence "Solidarity Counter" with Chizuru. On Sunflora, Discord, Dialga, Crownlegs and Grant (Arceus was knocked out by Lexhur Laser). I know Grant and Discord have Flinch immunity, but Solidarity Guard should still work because the effect technically isn't flinch, right?
Cecilia: Bo Strike on Poseidon Tank.
Harliette: Mineral Shot on Crownlegs (if it's dead, Charge Shot on Poseidon Tank), Illumise to use Helping Hand on Harliette, Blissey to use Sing on Lucian.
Wilhelmina: Buckshot Blast on Crownlegs (if it's dead, Buckshot Blast on Poseidon Tank).

[Evolith/Device Space 1] [Aster] [Spitz] [Sol-Leks] [Bastiodon] [Illumise] [Harliette] [Blissey] [Cecilia] [Blaziken] [Tyranitar] [Starmie] [Fathom] [Impact] [Barrier Amplifier]

Yeah, I elected to save up Lexhur's Rage in case we need it later. Sue me.

What is Solidarity Guard doing, if it is not actually flinching?

Erm, right, my bad. What I meant was Solidarity Counter.

Solidarity Guard is Chizuru's Signature Technique.

What Solidarity Counter does is pretty much the same as Solidarity Guard, except indiscriminately. See, the enemies do attack, but they do no damage. As opposed to flinching, where they definitely don't attack.

Isn't that basically saying that your foes have 0% accuracy on all their moves for the turn? Or something like Protect? Because AB might cause you trouble one way or another with moves that never miss like Aura Sphere or with moves that bypass defense one way or another.

Remember when Chizuru used Solidarity Guard back at the mansion? AB didn't actually say what kind of attacks the enemies used.

So Solidarity Guard would work by taunting the enemies and forcing them to waste an action on some unspecified nameless attack.

Astral Harmony will become famous soon enough. Eventually. Maybe.

That's how it is. But it won't always work, usually if the enemy is, as Dracorian likes to put it, cheaters.

For example, he definitely would not have gotten the favorable results he desired if he tried that shit on Pokegeddon. The results of using certain techniques on certain foes tend to vary. All I can say is, choose who you evade and counter carefully and don't get too greedy.

Fucking cheaters, man!

But now that that's settled, what do you think about the rest of my plan, Menarker? I considered having Aster use Zen Aura, but I'd rather use that next turn where he can utilize the 100% critical hit bonus to it's fullest extent.

Anyway, I've finished Adamantitar (got a better name? throw it at me), Sophie and Tsujimi (who will probably need to be depowered). And what do you know? The time to introduce them is just after this mission. Sooooooooo...

(AB, if you don't want to deal with this now and want me to post it later, I understand. It's a big read, and I'm an impatient, ungrateful asshole.)

SophiaName: Sophia Vernier

Alias: Prodigy

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Class: Battle Master (Slayer level 2, Trainer level 3; yes, I realize that we're only up to level 4 yet, but by the time Rayleen's sidequest rolls along we'll be at level 5)

Pokémon Registry:

Almighty Tsujimi (Genderless)
Ability: Indifference
Demon Rampage/Feral Beast
Lucifer Rising/Mist Ball
Crush Claw/Draco Meteor

Psychic/Flying Lugia (Genderless)
Ability: Pressure
Psychic/Aeroblast
Roost/Earthquake
Dragon Rush/Thunder

Bug/Fighting Heracross (Male)
Ability: Guts
Megahorn/Close Combat
Brick Break/Bulk Up

Ghost Mismagius (Female)
Ability: Levitate
Psywave/Toxic
Shadow Ball/Calm Mind

Dark/Ice Weavile (Female)
Ability: Pressure
Night Slash/Poison Jab
Thief/Ice Punch

Appearance: Sophie is a small purple-haired girl. She wears a cute pair of glasses over her blue eyes. She wears an unflattering combination of a yellow turtleneck that's a size too big and long brown skirt. Underneath, she hides a rockin' body complete with supple breasts. Under her clothes, she wears the Vernier Armor, which technically looks just like a completely black shorty wetsuit and adjusts perfectly to her curves, though it's texture is that of a proper battle suit; the Vernier Utility Belt and on her left arm the Governor, a bracer with a screen interface with which she controls both the suit and the belt.

Backstory: Sophia is your regular genius Pokemon Researcher. Not particularly impressive, they're a dime a dozen in the Pokemon world, right? Regardless, Sophie was good enough to land herself a job in Ricewood Masterworks, and soon enough was leading her own projects. Among which were the Vernier Armor, a handy item that combines every piece of Slayer armor in one place, then the Vernier Utility Belt, a belt with pouches that incorporate pokeball technology, allowing Slayers to "capture" Slayer weapons and release them when needed, and the Governor, the wrist interface that controls both pieces of equipment. She also works closely with Jeanette Ricewood herself on several projects.

Her current assigment is research into the capabilities of a previously undiscovered pokemon. As it has no mouth and has shown no other ways of communication, no one is quite sure what it's name is. In lab testing, this pokemon proved not to be weak to any of the known elemental types, even after using Gravity to rule out a Ghost/Dark type. In fact, it doesn't seem to have any specific type. Currently, Sophie is testing it out in the field in real missions. When Rayleen split up from PATCA and formed the Crosswald Crusaders to investigate Burkmont, Jeanette volunteered Sophia to assist them.

Personality: Sophie is your classic high school geek, except she's smokin' hot (to be fair, point me at an ungly anime person and I'll show you hateful lies). As a result of a rather sheltered upbringing, Sophie suffers from crippling social awkwardness. She gets extremely nervous talking to people in any situation outside the lab. In fact, that's the only time she seems confident. In spite of this, she has a brilliant analytical mind and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. Whenever she comes across something new, a fire lights up in her eyes and she launches into a rant on figuring out the how and why.

She is an avid fan of anime, manga and hentai, and owns a rather large collection of all three.

Signature Technique: Test Amoeba ~ 70/100 RP, Sophie throws a test tube on the ground around four enemies. The amoeba occupies the space of four spots in the enemy formation. Enemies in those positions are Bound and take Badly Poisoned damage and cannot be switched out until the amoeba is destroyed. Enemies that switch into those spots will become trapped. The amoeba can only be destroyed by two Fire-type attacks.

Sophie's Magatama
- A skill to use two attacks for one turn (note: attacks, not actions; use an item? no; use a Signature Technique? no; normal attack? yes) at a RP cost.
- Enhanced observational skills: first level, determine the strengths (weapon capabilties, possible attacks) and possible weak points of an opponent. Second level, read body language and determine an opponent's next move (NOT precognition, that doesn't fit with Sophie). Both for an RP cost.
- Stat boosts.
- Chemical knowledge: Sophie carries around a case full of chemicals. In the field, she can mix and match to treat status afflictions to an extent. The effect of all physical status effects (except for Freeze, for obvious reasons) is halved. Physical status effects that take two actions to cure can be healed in one action.

TsujimiName: Tsujimi

Type: Almighty

Ability: Indifference

Stats

HP: 85
Attack: 75
Defense: 75
Special Attack: 75
Special Defense: 75
Speed: 75
Total: 460

Species: Feral Demon

Appearance: Height: 4'5"; Weight: 115.4 lbs
Tsujimi has a humanoid body that is entirely white. It has a long head with a point at the end. It's eyes have red irises and it has no mouth or nose. It's torso, arms and legs are long and slender, and it has simple feet with no toes. It has five-fingered hands tipped with razor-sharp claws, and a long tail. Simple, yes, but deadly.

Personality: Tsujimi's name was actually given to it long ago by someone else, and they became known as such throughout the Netherworld. Tsujimis are semi-rare denizens of the Netherworld. They are notoriously hard to kill, due to the fact that they have absolutely no weak points, they emit an aura that enables them to penetrate any defense, and their unerring aim. They are also known for their shapeshifting capabilities. Due to the fact that they don't care much for anyone else, even others of their own species, they often wander alone. Tsujimis require no substenance and they do not tire. A Tsujimi does not bother to hide their Aura, and it will always display as a dark blue. A Tsujimi's only motivation is becoming stronger by fighting anyone it encounters. Nevertheless, they are smart, and know to run away when they are outmatched, usually to pursue their opponent for a while and strike them unawares. A lone traveler meeting a Tsujimi is the proud new owner of a death sentence.

Sophie encountered a Tsujimi that had wandered into the Umbral world and, thinking it was simply a previously undiscovered pokemon, had a long and grueling battle and finally captured it. She is currently unaware that it is a Fiend, although the implications of Fiends from the Netherworld being susceptible to pokeballs are definitely interesting...

HMs: Cut, Strength, Rock Smash, Rock Climb

Indifference (Ability)
This pokemon recieves no STAB bonus for any attacks. Enemy attacks do not recieve a STAB modifier when targetting this pokemon. This pokemon is not affected by buffs, debuffs or protective moves (Protect, Barrier, Light Screen, Renny's Serene Blessing). All attacks used by this pokemon deal 1x damage, regardless of typing, and ignore enemy buffs, debuffs or protective moves. This includes bosses. If a boss has an impenetrable shield, this pokemon can attack through it. If a boss can dodge any attack, this pokemon can hit them anyway.

Demon Rampage (Almighty type, Physical, makes contact, 100 power, 70% accuracy, one target)
Tsujimi tears into an unlucky foe with it's claws. 50% Internal Bleeding, 50% Flinch.

Lucifer Rising (Almighty type, Status, 100% accuracy, Self)

Height: 6'0"; Weight: 175.2 lbs
Lucifer is, well... he's Lucifer. A black-haired, long-haired, blue-eyed angel dressed in white and wielding a big flaming sword, irradiating a holy aura. Those that see Lucifer are suddenly stricken by the urge to fall to their knees, beg for his mercy and serve him forever.

Celestial Grace (Lucifer only, Almighty type, Status, 100% accuracy, three targets)

Lucifer bathes three allies in holy light, removing all debuffs and status afflictions and healing them for 25% of their max HP. Accuracy drops by 50% after every use.

Hellking (Lucifer only, Almighty type, Special, 80 Power, 70% accuracy, two targets)

Lucifer swings the scythe and sends a powerful demonic shockwave at two adjancent enemies. 100% chance to inflict Fear. Warning: may cause incontinence.

NOTES: Tsujimi must always have the moves Demon Rampage, Feral Beast and Lucifer Rising in it's moveset. When Tsujimi transforms, Feral Beast and Lucifer Rampage are replaced by the signature moves available to that form.

AdamantitarName: Adamantitar

Ability: Typhon

Type: Rock/Dark

Stats

HP: 110
Attack: 145
Defense: 130
Special Attack: 95
Special Defense: 100
Speed: 60
Total: 640

Appearance: Height: 7'05"; Weight: 534.4 lbs
Tyranitar, bigger and badder. Aside from the increase in size, Adamantitar's hide becomes a darker shade of green and absorbs sand to grown tougher, becoming seemingly indestructible. It's tail grows longer and the spikes at the tip, as well as the ones running down it's back, sharpen. The three claws on it's hands and feet sharpen as well. The rhombus on it's chest turns from blue to dark red. The triangular holes on it's chest, knees and back are joined by two on each of it's arms.

Personality: Adamantitars in general would for the most part stay secluded. They will fight if challenged, and are unstoppable if enraged. One would usually gather it's own pack of Tyranitars, Pupitars and Larvitars to rule. They are quite protective of their herd.

Of course, that would be their behavior if Adamantitar were widespread. Since Pierce's Adamantitar is the first in history, that doesn't actually happen. Pierce's Adamantitar is actually quite docile, as long as it's not enraged. Adamantitar has become far less reckless since it's Tyranitar days, actually stopping to consider a situation before charging in. It is now downright friendly, even to people that aren't Pierce.

HMs: Same as Tyranitar's.

Typhon (Ability)

Adamantitar is bad motherfucker that eats mountains for breakfast and routinely makes Thunder Gods shit in their pants. Typhon functions exactly like Sand Stream, with the added bonus that Adamantistorm also causes Rock-type pokemon's Defense to increase by 50%.

Okay, wow. I have far too much free time on my hands. Which is saying something, considering most of my day is packed.

Maybe I should pick up a hobby or something.

Tsujimi sort of confuses me, is it a pokemon or what? And I assume Sophie is your character for the side RP?

If so, here are some concepts I've been kicking around.

Spiritomb Pokebrid
Alias: Legion/ Gerasenes

Xatu Pokebrid
Alias: Nirvana

Heatran Pokebrid
Alias: Bob

Tsujimi is a Fiend from the Netherworld who was somehow caught by a pokeball. How, I'm not sure. It was AB's idea, blame him. But yes, Tsujimi would function like a pokemon. Albeit, a heavily broken one. As for it's two other forms, well, multi-form pokemon aren't exactly new.

And yes, Sophie is my character for the side-RP.

Actually, a question arises. I was originally under the impression that Pierce's sidequest and Rayleen's sidequest would be taking place at the same time. But reading over AB's mission rundown again, it says that Jeanette will be joining the Crusaders in Rayleen sidequest, which would be slightly impossible if it took place at the same time as Pierce's. So am I given to understand that we'll be running Pierce's sidequest first, then Rayleen's sidequest?

Because if so, then I guess I didn't really need to post Sophie and Tsujimi yet.

Personally, I'd change a few things around with the plan. Not very much, but still...

1: Illumise should be earlier in the plan, targetting one of the fire pokemons using a fire attack on Crownlegs instead of Hariette. (Sol-lek or Blaziken). Preferably whichever is using the move with higher attack power and respective attack stat. Multipliers on top of multipliers go much higher than putting it on something without a multiplier.

2: Switch Tyranitar and Sol-lek's attacks, so Sol-lek is hitting Crownlegs with his enhanced fire attack (Sunny Day, STAB, Helping Hand) and Tyranitar is hitting the tank. Fits in character as well as Charlotte would probably be seeking to make Crownlegs one of her trophies as opposed to a tank, which doesn't feel pain and isn't that unique either.

Otherwise, I'm good with it, although it does leave Sunny Day open, meaning that Wildfire is going to be knocking quite a few of us out, especially since she's on her last turn of that 5 stat boost bonus.

Guess I should make my character a snagger then. I'll think of stuff in a bit. Although Drac took one of the ones I was considering, Weavile. Ah well. No biggie.
