I like the mods here, past and present. Also, Mesden.
They actively work, for no money, on a webforum based around a sprite comic of an NES videogame. Enough said really.

If that is all you can do, that is too bad. This thread was pretty interesting until you had your recent brain freeze.
Actually I take that back. I know nerds, they doing research on their own phasers guns and warp technology- they don't need to watch Star Trek for that. Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
And if you want me to criticise something properly actually give me something to criticise not lame retools of movie serials, packaged with awful political messages as naive as they are unsubtle, and packed with pretty lights and explosions to hide the fact you are watching a children's terrible fantasy adventure in space. Give and take, give and take, hoshit.

Death to Videodrome!

I mean, come on: mind control and reality warping hallucinations that can be recorded on Betamax?

Everybody knows that VHS is the superior medium for recording mind control broadcasts.

Long live the New Flesh! Long live eXistenZ!

Also, the head of a company that makes eyeglasses is called Barry Convex.

Betamax records in higher quality than VHS. Clearly it would be the technologyof choice.

Oh no! My secret weakness! I have bad things to say about eXistenZ but I can't bring myself to say them.

VHS achieved market supremacy not through higher quality but through mind control. Fact.

To be honest I just thought your secret weakness was living pistols who shoot out teeth.

Are you the Girl All The Bad Guys Want? Frankly, having some whining emo on a moped trying to sing about you should be somewhat shameful.

Selena Gomez = Miley Cyrus = Britney Spears = Lindsay Lohan. Just another future washed-up sex-drugs-and-alcohol-addicted train wreck in the waiting, which would give people like Perez Hilton a reason to continue to exist.

As for the Scene, I'd have to know of which Scene you refer to, so I can properly criticize it. Links?

I'm sure you could've done better on Bowling for Soup. The Scene is Selena Gomez's band. It's Selena and the Scene, so there's no need to do the Scene seperate.

Fixed that for ya. It was difficult to find someone who could make Meatloaf: Bat Out of Hell II sound like a masterpiece, but they managed to.

Now that is much better. I was not offended with being called a nerd, or a geek for that matter. I was just disappointed with the lack of effort on your part. I applaud you for going back to being the smart-ass critic that we all know and love.
............
It was quite unintentional, but I believe the Thread Killer has reared his ugly head and has killed this thread. Sorry about that, SMB.
