Kingdom Hearts 3D

I wouldn't mind a Kingdom Hearts game with Aqua as the only main character(Of course, we'll probably just get ANOTHER SORA COPY/CLONE/ROBOT/CTHULU), but then I remember 3rd Birthday and I feel kinda... unsure at the whole thought.

Not exactly accurate.

Roxas is definitely Sora's Nobody. You can say hes part of him, but not. He's the closest thing to another sora.

Namine is more Kairi's Nobody than Soras. It was her heart that made her.

Xion is Roxas's Replica made from Sora's Memories, so yeah you can say shes part of him but again her existance isn't Soras.

Ventus' heart is given to Sora somehow. He becomes a part of him, but isnt him. They arent the same person. Ventus's heart may be part of what made Roxas look like he did, which would then make Roxas less Sora too.

Data Sora is a program that is supposed to act like sora. Its not actually a person.

Yeah, they are all related to Sora, but none are really Sora.

Anywho and speaking of KH3D, rumor is the trailer does not depict scenes from the actual game, but are just used to convey the overall feeling of the game. Rumor is based on an interview I havent seen yet, so can't confirm it's validity.

All we know is that Xenohorts nobody has been taken out and his heartless is still inside Riku. I assume the heartless will be permanently defeated this game and Xenohort will come back for kh3.

i think the main point is that this si a series with over half a dozen games and the main character only really appears to play in one of those games... Sora. in the first game.

so they could retcon more stuff into the events of Kingdom Hearts 1.

Can't be done! if you Retcon Kingdom hearts even MORE it will collpse onto itself in a singularity point in the middle of the road to nowhere.

Apparently it can be done because I'm watching these cutscenes and it's like "Remember this part in KH1? Well here's stuff you didn't see but was totally happening. Totally. Trust me I'm a Nomura."

KH1: There's this guy named sora we play as
KH:COM there's this other Sora we're hinted about.
KH2: There's this other Sora we meet!
KH:NUMBERS: There's this Sora Replicate made from Sora's memories.
KH: BBS Ventus shared hearts with Sora or some homo shit, and so the dark side of his heart is technically Sora!
KH: Coded: Data Sora is a AI clone with all his memories!

Anyway, it looks like a Side by Side kind of game, where the two have similar paths but different events and enemies, as seen by the trailer showing Sora and Riku going through traverse town, but meeting their respective nemesis at both: Sora vs Xemnas, Riku vs Xehanhort. It's likely it's not the real enemy, but a duplicate made for their training.

Perhaps being trained to be a master keyblade wielder is to challenge the darkness in your heart, I dunno. But I do like the idea of going back to old areas with new abilities. The best way to do a remake is to give everyone new stuff!

I am completely gaga over Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy and this is getting ridiculous, even to me.

By the way I don't care what anyone else says you totally nailed the multiple Soras thing.

Nope. When Ansem's Digivice or whatever exploded in KHII and blasted Riku with concentrated Heart, it blasted those remnants of ASOD clean out of him. ASOD is fully and completely dead.

Which means that both halves of Xehanort are now free to merge back together. Xehanort will be whole by the time KHIII comes along
