Okay, fuck you AT&T. They cut off my internet over a bullshit charge I haven't gotten a bill for. It should be back on sometime tomorrow. Maybe.

You know, AT&T actually called in a bill collector on me while I was in Iraq because some smuck lost the fax I sent them showing that I was going to be deployed and needed my stuff suspended... THEN on top of that they added some charge that they never told me about.
I told them "Fine, I'll pay, but you've now lost a customer because of this bullshit." So yeah, I can give AT&T a great big "Kiss my ass."

Well I have been board and Iced in to my home so I played minecraft off and on. Figured out something pecular.
Ghasts attack your camera no your player. What this means is if you go into the neather and hit F5 and make sure a ghast isnt right behind you they will keep missing.

So wait, does this mean Ghasts can see through the fourth wall and are actively trying to get the player themselves?

Lost Secrets of the Southern Desert
Been faffing about in my single player file for a while, and found something interesting while exploring a desert biome to the south of my spawn area.
I stumbled upon this through a side shaft, so the sand hasn't fallen. And what's below the sand, you ask? I'm just as curious as you are. I've established a temporary base of operations near a spring on the opposite side of the shaft from where the above images were taken. Luckily for me, I had just enough wood on me to construct a workbench, though chests will have to wait. For the honor of the Royal NPF Geological Society and my own glory, I will continue my exploration of the desert caves and provide regular updates. What wonders could lurk in the dusty depths...

So we are clear
|
I discovered a similar phenomenon in the multiplayer server in the south west and have concluded the following. When the map is first generated sand and gravel will stay where its created even if there is nothing under it.
This is only true for those specific blocks, break the bottom one and all those above it fall

Apperentally it's not that rare, I've encountered it on both the Single-player servers I've been on, and on the old multiplayer map we had.
