That's how I've felt about Shyria as a sniper more than a few times. Until I started hunting her down as a Scout when I could. It's surprising how effective the little pricks can be.

TF2 is all about the Rock Paper Scissors dynamic.

Unless Azi gets Assassins Creed syndrome... that's when he starts to nest on high places, preferably near corners to rain bullets on those who don't look up all that often because that's not where you expect a Heavy to be!

Well the Azi did survive for longer than usual when he discovered the miraculous "box in a corner" on Harvest. Well... he lived until he ran out of ammo spy checking everyone, and was mysteriously stabbed in the back as he ventured out to get more.

I may yelp and scream and complain sometimes. And I may have recurring nightmares about spies backstabbing me, but ultimately I know they are an important part of the Hat Fortress 2 ecosystem. There aren't many solid counters to Heavy-Medic at all.

I find my best advantage as a spy is just pure patience and well calculated risks. Its hard to bide your time when the enemy is showering ammo everywhere in hopes of revealing where you are.

so yea you can camp, but I'll be waiting in the shadows for the moment you show any sign of weakness
