I'd say give it a shot, but it's already 5:30 on the west coast, so unless you can put it together in under 6 1/2 hours you probably wouldn't be able to submit it in time.

So instead I'll say give it a shot and don't worry about submitting it. The event's primarily about improving yourself as an artist, and you don't really need to submit your pictures to the site for that.

Anyhow, I ended up doing Rainbow Dash as Mighty Casey. It's over 120 years old, it totally counts. I was going to do Pinkie Pie as Pandora, but for some reason felt compelled not to. In hindsight I blame my drawing parallels between the characters of Casey and Rainbow Dash.

This is the result. I wanted to draw a second pony off in the background dressed as a catcher and a third as an umpire, but I have difficulty with tiny details and perspective right now. Though it occurred to me just now at 9:41 PM that I could have drawn a baseball. Consarn it.

EDIT: Day Fifteen has begun, and Day Fourteen's submissions are up. And now we have to draw a pony standing in the wind. Since I can't actually draw wind, I'll have to do something with hair... yikes.

Anyhow, Brony Movie Night was pretty fun, again. I got to see a terrible movie from my childhood and a pretty good movie I never had the chance to see. And also ponies, of course.

There's also a "Nightmare Version" of that song... But the ending to that one seems REALLY out of place for the song. But I'll let you all decide that.
