See them play it got me to re-download it and buy the "Ultra" DLC.

Good heavens, just when you thought Beat Hazard was the game most likely to induce a seizure before, they go and add MORE FLASHING COLORED LIGHTS.

All told, I managed to get out of this steam sale fairly intact. All I bought was Frozen Synapse, and some DLC for Gratuitous Space Battles, and the above mentioned Ultra DLC for Beat Hazard, plus what I got for tickets.

Steam downloads have just been mediocre during the sale. In all fairness, there are 2 to 4 million people all downloading stuff, I can't really fault Steam too much, even if I was a bit unnerved at being unable to even boot up games because they were so busy sometimes.

My average download speed for Steam is 4 to 6 MB/s, but during the length of the sale it's never broken 1.5MB/s, and is more likely to be 200-500kb/s.

Yeah it was! Co-op makes an already insane game even crazier!
