Just watched the Gyo OVA. Some unnecessary stuff, but that sort of stuff makes up a VERY small part of the experience, and it's incredibly true to the original. There's also a lot of cool stuff that's been done visually that I was rather fond of.

Was reading up on some of what's airing next season, and for a sec I was hopeful about Sakamichi no Apollon. Then I found out it's not a gay romance series, so fuck it. I'm not watching it out of spite for getting my hopes up.
