Lost of memories doesn't equal loss of powers. It's likely that they were retought how to use their powers.
The lost memories after dieing thing was mentioned during/before SS. And again during the bleach movie (memories of nobody). Otherwise they have no reason what so ever to help at all much less not kill/mind rape Genjoh and start their journey of revenge. (sp) Making this another case of tite kubo favored bullshit with extra shit sprinkled on.

If you absolutely must have an explanation based on logic and consequences, Kubster gave you one in "Fireworks took them in off the streets;" what with "the streets" still being a lawless place where Soul Reapers can kill indiscriminately and answer to no one, everyone lives in destitute poverty, and life (or after-life, I guess) is cheap. They are indebted to Fireworks, so they do what she says, and she said "Train with my stupid brother."
But the real explanation is still "They got beat; they're allies now." I have no idea why you'd set power of befriending aside in a story that has run on power of befriending since Ishida.

You have a point, but atleast the other had some form of a reason for helping (Ishida and ichigo had a common enemy).
Guess we'll have to wait and hear why those 3 are helping SS whenever Kubo gets back to them.

Wasn't their motivation solely "Let's get more power?" I honestly forget if they had any ulterior motives beyond "steal Ichigo's power and become more powerful." Because if that's the case Fireworks lady could've just been like "I'll help you guys be stronger, and I'll give you direction for that power, and nobody will hate you anymore."

Yeah, but with Ginjo it was for the sake of getting revenge against SS for betraying him by placing the power limiter on him without his consent.
