Now here's the thing; this is the time of the year where we're bombarded with Christmas music. This year it seems to be more intrusive - DMX has released a cover of Rudolph, The Red Nosed Reindeer. DMX has released a Christmas album. Take a minute to absorb that. Every musician has released a Christmas album; Nelly Furtado, Michael Buble, Zooey Deschanel...

But no one has talked about the best Christmas song ever, The Night Santa Went CrazyCarol Of The Bells.

"How great is it?" I imagine you asking. It's super great, I reply. Super great. What other Christmas song has been performed by cello, by Muppet, by Allison Crowe, Glee-like youth choir in a forest, hand bell choir, or just straight up classic?

What other song was so cooly featured in the best Christmas movie ever?

Being an international citizen in a snow-free country i'm quite happy with the fact that most of ours carols are translated versions of American carols or none at all depending of where you are in the country.

Seriously... we hear the Coca Cola Christmas Theme more often than Jingle Bells...
