As someone who has been itching to livestream a perma-death run of something (I was thinking Dark Souls) and as someone who hasn't played minecraft in forever and is terrible at surviving in the game at any difficulty above peaceful, I'm in for this.

I haven't got any yet, so i actually would appreciate it a lot. I tried Shogun 2 when it was a new thing but i had very little experience with the type of game so i couldn't managed. But the Big strategy and Big army games always allured me, and everybody keeps tells me that this is one of the best. So, 75% off on that? Awesome. I would probably buy it at 75% off in the holiday season anyway

Does anybody here uses Desura?

Cause... i buy quite a few bundles, and i get a lot of Desura keys alongside my steam keys... but i don't want to use Desura, so i was using those keys for Gala Giveaways... but i really just don't bother that much anymore with it.

Point being... i have a few random desura keys laying around catching dust...

So, is anyone around here playing along with the Steam Trading Card thing? I have some interest in completing the Half Life 2 deck personally and a girlfriend who would love a finished Portal 2 deck.

I sell all my cards the instant I get them on the Market, and then use the proceeds to buy Dota 2 Treasure Keys.

The fact that you only ever get half the total # of cards in drops (with the possibility of duplicates) with no way of obtaining more drops is absurd. Also, for F2P games, needing to spend $9 in the store for an extra drop is equally absurd.

And all this to get rank 1 of a pointless badge that requires another full set to rank up again, and an emote or profile background or useless coupon.

I'm not going to lie, I was really excited when I first heard about the addition of trading cards but the limitations on obtaining them, and the rewards for doing so, made my excitement drop to non-existant.
