Lets also not undermine the idea of method acting. That means you stay in character between takes, not that you act like a sociopathic dick while your cast-mates are having breakfast.

Jared Leto is the weird kid at high school that does not get invited to parties.
The live rat thing was a pretty asshole-ish move to be fair, and I bet he did a lot more that the news didn't catch. Anyway, I'm probably watching this next week or so, more out of morbid curiosity than anything. |

That's an article from a satire website, FYI.

Anybody keeping up on their facebook feed like I am is getting no small amount of entertainment from the ACTUAL 'DC vs. Marvel' fanboy arguments taking place in the comments of any Suicide Squad post.
Like, not just observations of the Marvel franchise as generally superior, or statements of preferences for the DC films, but people being actual shitheads to each other like this is fukin sega do what nintendo't or whatever. I don't known what else I should have expected though, the same stuff is happening over iPhone v Android.

Americans love their bipartisanship. By having a singular opposition it allows for a us vs them mentality bringing solidarity to your own cause. This causing in many people to craft their side as part of their identity so attacking that side is treated as a personal attack against them. Taking things so personally leads to self-esteem issues and the quick fix for self-esteem issues is to degrade others ideally those you view in opposition to yourself (which would be the other product since you made it part of your identity)

Archer and Armstrong vs. the World

I did see this but have refrained from giving my opinion so I could come to terms with it.
I had initially blasted it quite harshly on another forum due to what I saw as yet again unnecessary cuts, sloppy editing that seemed interested more in trimming seconds off each scene than with giving them room to breath, and classic hits that seemed shoehorned into several scenes rather than being part of the scenes from the get-go. The fact that a trailer company had say in the final cut kind of backs up this opinion. The villain was also pretty bad--Enchantress, I mean. Waller was spot on, and honestly despite the hatred the Leto Joker has gotten for his looks, I think he captured the spirit of the character in the few scenes he was given. Initially, I think I would give the movie a 4/10. Having seen it again just last week, I do enjoy the CONTENT of the movie enough to overlook how as a film it is objectively poorly put together in many aspects. I would say it's about a 6/10 for me. Of the DCEU films it is a distant third compared to Man of Steel and Batman v Superman. I am looking forward to Wonder Woman and Justice League, however, since presumably they will have decided on a tone for these films before filming them in their entirety and then trying to make them into something they are not in post-production, as seems to have happened with this film.
