When I first heard of Oni, I had such great hopes. Unfortunately, when one plays Oni, one can tell exactly where they stopped trying to produce a good game. I think it was around level two or three.
They probably should have included the multiplayer. It would have saved the game.

The gameplay itself actually turned out to highly entertain me.
The plot was mildly engaging. The levels were nice and futurisic. The amount of running around without finding enemies or the right doors on some levels? Boring.

it Had its moments, but the controls were sometimes fustrating but if they tweaked it up in a sequel I would play it, the only thing bad in the game..were the controls

It had some good points but too many flaws for it to be just an okay game. I'm not saying it's horrible or anything. Mostly, I think it was the level design that got to me. I usually saved my guns for when I was dealing with more than two or three enemies at once.

Oni was one of the best game concepts ever, and it was actually hard to beat - imo. The controls could have used a little tweaking, and SOME of the level design was repetive - but the combat system and the difficulty of the AI were first- rate. I would LOVE to see a sequel to it.

The QUESTION you want to ask is:
Who has NOT heard of Oni.

Oni is generic, just like all of Bungie's other games.

Any Halo fan that physically attacks someone who calls Halo generic should really be shot in the head. Not that I agree with Wheel Scorcher or anything, but showing such a lack of self-control is just not cool or badass. But back on topic...
I hope to reserve some time to play Oni when I get back from the desert. Yeah, go ahead and flame me. I was too young and unexperienced with gaming when I played Oni and I really think I should give it another go. Believe it or not, there's always worse games to play out there.
