Bad Day
Ever have a day when someone you love unwittingly dashes your hopes and dreams, crushes your pride, and belittles everyting you believe in?
Now imagine that it's before noon. I need some pick-me-ups and I need em' now.

Yes, this has in fact happened to me. Picture yourself a nerdirific young boy as I am. You've been up most of the night playing your beloved D&D on yonder internet connection. Then it's 9:00 AM the next morning, you've had a grand total of 3 hours of sleep and your mother awakes you with these kind words:
Parent:"Mike, get up, are you going with so and so to such and such?" (Insert people who I'm sure would rather not be named at so-and so) Child:"No he's going with So-and so2 who I don't...*yawn* feel like being around." Parent: "Come on Mike, you need to get a social life...more than you already have, I mean." As you can imagine I was fairly pissed off by this. As I am I really don't need any reminders I don't ever get to go anywhere/do anything. She also took away by internet access, made to do several remidial chores and caused several similar "You are a loser" incidents that day. By that day I mean the four hours she was still home. It may not seem like much but that hurt like a mother well...you know.

When I'm feeling down or like my life sucks. I simply think about the Billions!!! of people in other coutries who are starving, in fear of their lives, without freedom, then I stop bitch'n. Especially like Mercinaries on the history channel had some rather brutal true stories of African child rape, ugly woman rape, old woman rape, and many other things that would turn your stomach. The ugly woman not only was raped, but then some of her rapists stabbed her leg until it came off when he was about half done. Then think of all the starving babies and how they are raped, beat to death, then raped again.
Be glad you dont live in Africa, and that you live in America or some other 1st world country where your priveledged enough to use the internet and see this.

I guess your right. It's just a lot of emotional shock to take all at once (by all at once, I mean in a constant barage of words lasting about thirty minutes).

How about you tell us your troubles? I need a good story and something to do for the next few minutes. It'd probably relieve you of any emotional stress that could cause damage too. [Instert some phyciatrists conclusions after you post]

nothing about this day really sucks, apart from....
I played badminton last night, and now it hurts to sit, stand, or walk because I pulled every muscle in my ass. I had my worst class, which features a creepy ugly hippy crapface that I want dead for three hours talking about tabla and her guru instead of...the course material My Room mate is making everyone watch 'Unbreakable' in my room, a movie which was decidedly disappointing in all respects...but then what do you expect from that shitmaster M. Night Shittyman....I expect shit, shitface...and I receive it in abundance. And, My girlfriend has decided to become a goddamn vegetarian (not to mention that beautiful women are throwing themselves at me, and I choose to do nothing about it, despite my inner need for love and physical attention...) ah well... maybe this day does suck after all, but it's just like any other.

May I suggest Despair, misfortune, and change.
Sorry. I couldn't help myself. Anyways...I would suggest talking to your friends about it. I had a friend who got dumped horribly on a couple of occassions, and he dealt with it by talking about it. It so happened to be during the time we were doing the school musical...so he had plenty of people to talk to. Seriously, it's like a running joke now. We call it the "Kali-ma", named after the famous heart removal scenes in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Well...that's my two cents, at least.
