Near the End of Dawn
Beyond the farthest reaches
of the wilderness of thought Beyond the wandering hills of dreams and hopes where aught We fall every night and every day we drift away Peaceful in our dreams… Peaceful in our dreams… By the edge of fantasy where endless journeys lie By the lake of dreams where heroes never die We come back every night and every time we want to stay Peaceful in our dreams… Peaceful in our dreams… Peaceful in our dreams we lie Flight Near the end of dawn by the edge of night we carry on Life A dream we struggle through Where I find that I am here with you Peaceful in our dreams…

wow Cloud, thats a great sex poem you got there! *cough* is that cough catching?
needles, on the surface they haven't pierced yet they tantalize the flesh expecting the sensation is afire no escape from this desire only may I run and keep running my mind is aloof only my body knows the truth but it cannot surmount my will too many questions not enough tenacity too many doubts where is my insolence? where is the lust of youth? I guess I left it behind now I sit here burning without fuel a cold fire of passion unrealized of animal tendencies I will never bow to... ok, thats a really bad poem about sex, and I am done. |

I feel free

Might as well jump on the bandwagon.
If I held your hand any longer, we would be grafted together forever, Were I to hold you any tighter, we will never come apart. The sounds of nature spray the land, The sights of primal needs, unmasked. Lament for tomorrow, for tonight will never end; We will never be the same again and for that we both are glad. The pillar shook and the walls did crumble, spreading forth the golden land, Where nothing and everything exist together, mixing in a sea of longing. Mayhaps the hills and dales of you my hands shall soon caress, But maybe yet I will turn you 'round and let you wonder what you shall get. Clenching the sides of a muscular hero, the fingers of death have opened again, And though you have flailed in human conception, I shall once again make you cry. Together, my mate, we shall ride till dawn, making the sins of the world stop and say, Living yet not, a time of desire and animals never shall bait. She touched my thigh and life went out of me. I touched her breast and the eagles did soar. *Jumps on the perverbial bandwagon*

A poem that's NOT about sex! *gasp!*
Have you often lamented
The time you ran out of words? Your description all demented Backward instead of forward. To capture that perfect meaning The lines all pass your screening And become distorted The passion contorted To describe, to feel Pretty words, soft Wanted to be genteel Instead becomes aloft Broken pen, spilling ink On top of torn pages Words can't show, you think And instead turn to rages. |

I have things...
in my head you know they must be there pretending you can't see only emboldens them they are not bad no malice exists within but passion never tires in this lustful world I at least admit I am prey to my beasts I am not above what I am and I will never leave... |

We all have thoughts
We all have dreams But weren't we taught To not have them scream? You think you have me pegged Labled and counted, another one I think thus, but I have not begged And with that rebuttal it is done |

note: my previous poem had nothing to do with anything, just a little introspection. if that clears anything up.
heres another one. don't look this way I haven't donned the mask no painted visage unlit stages and sorrowful appearances daft ideals race damned in my sleep no tide to roll back once in this time spent all the way nor do the birds sing easy, lively tunes rocking oh so gently careening unbeknownst to certain dooms o'er shallow waters hidden by a shade a glass wall smashed to pieces by words also, completely unrelated to anything. just a poem. |

Ya, I know Funka G. It just came out when I saw it, so I had to write it down.
Today I am... Completely argumentive Artistically creative I guess I won't give It's how I am today Today I am... Thoughtful and speechless Mindful and preachless Much more and nothing less It's what I am today Today I am... An angel in disguise A devil they surmise Or both, I compremise It's who I am today. Today I am... In the world I created With my two hands, debated Colors my world is shaded It's where I am today. Today I am... Higher than cloud nine Beyond what they define This life that which is mine It's why I am today. |

it never rhymes
the way I want it to life, it never sets quite perfectly inadequate at best horde this, with your petty wealth keep it until, in a swift breeze, you have lost all I will not fault you for holding dear anything at all, anything I set before you I love you , as it were though not the kind that binds only a way to cleanse myself of guilt in your demise I never wanted it to close on me a chapter I will never find in pages lost to sacred time I would weep if tears were possible no color in my sight I know this lasts all night I hope you'll be alright as a ghost |

The inspiration, it's fleeting
Like sun-warmed snow It's already retreating Quite defeating you know I sit here, the clock still ticks Soda cans around me scattered The desk here, worn with nicks I sit there, like nothing mattered A friend comes near, complaining Her head hurts, her day sucks Her world is all sorrow containing I listen to all her "bad" lucks And yet again I stay The pencil's still Remain here all day? Perhaps I will. |
