The worm.
I warned you, You didn't listen, I told you truths, you ignored me. I showed you, You attacked me. A Cassandra, That I may be, but you are a fool. leopard's spots don't change. The season's regardless. life some things are certain, Some are unworthy of trust. My goals are met, My time grows shorter, I diminish, go into shadow, flea the darkness, The unworthy rule, I wish to go, I'm tired of drama, manufacturing so much, do you ever sleep now? seeking praise in ether, You grow fat on your undeserved worship.

Maybes (not so bright as the one)
Maybe I just didn't love you
quite so much as I had thought and destinies an answer to a question we can't ask and maybe all these dreary dreams are just dust before a storm, yeah and all the maybes I can give couldn't keep a promise in the wind [chorus] so if you took all of your maybes and you put 'em in a pile do you think you'd get a smile? not so bright as the one... not so bright as the one... not so bright as the one... maybe I am just a selfish fool who took all that I needed from you and bitterness is really cool while images define us but then again always then again maybe the fool has it right never asked the stars above and wasn't smart enough to give up [chorus] so if you took all of your maybes and you put 'em in a pile do you think you'd get a smile? not so bright as the one... not so bright as the one... not so bright as the one, time you smiled at me and said hello smiled at me and said hello hello .................................................. ............ this is a love song, in case anyone was wondering. I fell in love, a few times, but none quite so vibrant as the first time, as I'm sure most can attest to. |

Watch me whine.
Bitch. Complain. Watch me do it all again. If words (my poetry) were breasts, this is me fumbling with inexperienced fingers. Watch me whine. Bitch. Complain. Watch me do it all again. If this situation (though, I'm not involved) were as big as I make it, its gravity would have crushed you by now. Watch me whine. Bitch. Complain. Watch me do it all again. If I meant as much to you (dream as I may) as much as he does, maybe I wouldn't be doing this. Watch me whine. I opened up to you! Why couldn't you reciprocate?! Bitch. Why did you fuck with me like that? This isn't over yet! Complain You hurt me, and others, with your foul existence! I'm going to dissapear, and then you'll care! Watch me do it all again. This isn't over yet! Not over! My words will get to you! And you will suffer! As I have suffered. My proud words. Empty. Worthless. I'm not who I think I am. They're right about me. But I'm going to involve myself again! But I'm going to demand to be recognized again! But I'm going to hurt myself all over again! But I'll blame you. I'm not who I think I am. They're right about me. I'm just a dumb guy. Watch me whine. Bitch. Complain. Watch me do it all again. I never learn. Just a dumb guy.

Oh crap - the milk is
past its expiration date Must consume it soon... ___ Yeah, don't mind me. I was just thinking about writing a poem, and noticed the above fact.

You know... I made a post... a few... million pages back that was something like "Knock that drama shit off."
Poetry is all fine and good. Emotion is all fine and good. However, I'm tired of hearing the equivalent of, "Daddy! _____ called me a name!" I'm tired coming here to see that it's been going back and forth. I'm tired of fucking internet drama from fucking teenagers who can't get their penises and/or vaginas aligned right. Demon. You're warned. Maybe it's not common knowledge that JADGuy means Just Another Dumb Guy, or, further, all the other things in that little poem that make it even MORE obvious you're talking about him--but I know all these things. JAD, you're also warned. The fucking drama is giving me a headache. I'd go back further and see who else is involved, but damnit, I already need a tylenol. Everyone just shut up, sit down, and write nice little poetry that isn't targetting other people's emotions. If you need to write poetry about other members of the community use your own webspace and give people links outside the forum, or e-mail it to them, or something. You both know better. Neither of you message or PM me or complain because I'm your friend and betrayed your or something equally inane. I'm also a mod, and for chrissake you, again, BOTH know better. Edited to add: SA, if your poem was about the same situation/a reply to JAD's poem to dig at you, and I find out, consider yourself warned too. Someone has to have the maturity to not reply to that kind of crap when it happens or it just keeps going. Obviously that maturity is lacking here and that's why I stepped in. Edited again to add: SA is warned. She fessed up and accepted it. ...I'm tempted to let her slide JUST for that, but I'm also in a pissy mood about having to deal with this. So no. Edit yet once more: Also SA=BMG!=BlackMageGirl! It's her AIM screen name. I tend to use it more than her username. I forgot I was typing to some people who might not know that.

His fury knows no bounds.
I would write a poem out of that, but I'm stumped. So instead I give you my most recent 'I write in my sleep' poem. Like a flower in the rain (Wash away wash away) broken petals down a drain The colors of my pain (fade away fade away) Until I'm left bare again --- And as an additional note. All personal attacks on forum members I see made in poetry form (Yes, I can generally read into them enough to know who you're talking about) will be deleted and you will be temp-banned. You pissed Krylo off enough, and he shouldn't have to deal with this, so you'll answer to me. Bwah.

I came up with this at a hippy-esque party on Valentines. They all thought it was great.
Thy delicate flower thou must protect From wonton phallics and neglect. But if ye should not remember thine, Come to me and visit mine. I think the spur of the moment old english made them laugh the most.

"A game"
I sit here once again, pondering Wondering which move to take Make most of what I've got Not to slight the captured ones Sons to those on the board Soared across at finger touch Much to decide in my turn Learn the defenses, so to speak Seek the flaws in this design It's fine, it seems my pawns will fall Winners thrall, I move her across the slate Checkmate. |

Stranger in a strange land.

The sun is setting slowly now,
Behind the hills far west, The trees are barren, frozen now; Nature is in arrest. A lonely hawk circles above, Scouting its next meal, Will find that there is no love, Nor meat for it to steal. The lights come on, one by one, Illuminate the night. The people safe, darkness shunned, Huddle 'round the light. Life goes on, so unrelenting, Forgiving, it is not. But something's gone, now preventing Love from being brought... A search begins, to go and find what has been lost. But it's soon apparent that the mind Covered it with frost. So, turning 'round and coming back, They bring it to the fire. And give it now what had been lacked, A hero's funeral pyre.
