About BANS.

Recently, there have been some instances where people have been trying to disregard bans, either by playing stupid and claiming someone else 'stole' their account or by making a new account and acting as if nothing has happened.

If you have been banned: You were banned for a reason. Most of the time, the bans are temporary, thus meaning you will eventually regain control of your account.

If you are banned, you ACCEPT it. You are NOT allowed to make a new account, regardless of your current roles in the forums. This is ban-dodging, and we don't like it. If you hadn't done something wrong in the first place, you wouldn't have been in the position to make a new account.

People who ban-dodge by making new accounts will have their accounts PERMANENTLY banned. That means bye-bye, regardless of what you did in the first place to get your first ban. You don't cheat the system.

Many of the bans handed out recently are for simple reasons - not following rules or a blatant disregard for other people. Flaming is not allowed in the forums - and a much more harsh outlook will be taken toward people contributing to flaming if we see that it continues.

We have been through countless bans, so we know how to weed out the troublemakers or to hand out bans to those people who deserve them for whatever reason. We are, however, human. Thus if you feel the need to discuss your ban, most of us are willing to listen.
