Someone gets it! Guys, if I made these songs right away when people asked for them, they would completely suck because they'd lack inspiration. It's because of people begging that I don't regularly post songs any more. Not to sound upset, but have you guys tried putting yourselves in my shoes? "CT! MAKE MY SONG NOW!" comes from countless people over and over again. If anything, begging will keep pushing it off longer, as it will cause me stress. I make songs for recreation, but when people begging and trying to push me to a deadline that shouldn't exist, it makes it feel like work. I don't want this to feel like work. Sorry, I just had to get that out.

Couldn't agree more. I write songs too (Instrumental, not vocal. I cannot sing. Period.) and I find it really hard just to sit down, write a song, and make it good. I need time to think about it. Right now I am having trouble coming up with a bass line that sounds really cool that can be taken up and down pitches and still sound good. I've used walking basses waaaay too much.

Sorry! I didn't mean it to sound like that. I was just trying to point out something I thought was odd. I apologize if it seemed like I was complaining. I know CT has a life and that he's not here just so he can write songs for people.

Hey guys. I know you guys have your lives to attend to, and that little spree of CT's songs was great, but not everyone can have a turn at once. We're lucky if he even makes at least one a month. It's hard to just drop everything and all of a sudden start devoting your time to the NPF forums. Unless your at school goofing around (much like what I did last year).
Plus, although it's very supportive, we really don't need 5 pages of just "Good song, nice job, make one about me!"
We all need space sometimes.

Y'know, you guys may not have realized it, but Chesh isn't the only guy who has done/can do songs here (SAAM and Jad have proved that, among others). So why don't we all contribute and show a little love for NPF with the power of music!

I don't mean to sound hypocritical, but I don't have much in the way of musical talent nor a means to record said talent, so don't expect to see anything from me...

I would love to, but short of composing a short little fugue for everyone, I'm not very adept at writing music. CT taught me all the chords for his songs, but all can play is the keyboard (very poorly) and trombone. Amd I can't really sing whenplaying those.
But if someone would like a fugue based on them, I could give it a try.

I don't have a way to record a drumtrack (although I can do guitar and bass together)... and I'm not much of a comedy song writer. :p I'll leave that type of songwriting to ya'll, and keep my metal over here...
