The End of Evolution
|
I really feel like I'm posting too much right now, but here it goes.
I referenced comic 300, the same you did. That is moot. However, I personally don't see much of a corpse. I just see dust, like after an explosion. I would believe that someone was just hadoken-ed or ultima-ed (assuming those are verbs) and turned to dust, but I really don't see much of a corpse, as in dead body. Sorry, maybe I'm blind.

I strongly doubt Theif is the one talking. That wouldn't be very attractive storywise. I also brought up the thing about Thief's dead body to shoot that theory down. Theif will most likely turn red when he class change, right? That being true, how come he is shown as a dead body in the first panel with his brownish clothes? Simple, he isn't. Anyway, I don't think I'm doing any good right now, so I'll just call it a night and come back tomorrow. Earlier.

Ok, WMs not getting a class change. We get it, we really do. I never said she would. Doesn't mean her voice wont change (See: Garland). If she DOES descend into insanity becuase of fate, BB, and everything, you wouldn't expect her to talk like she does now, would you?

No, no, no. Brian himself hinted that it wasn't white mage. It's not.

I believe it's either WM or Fighter. But if Brian said its not WM... then I guess it has to be Fighter. As for the backgrounds in 434, I thought all of them were something to do with Gurgu... since they were JUST going away from there... and i thought the 1st one was Gurgu somking, second was Gurgu's lava, 3rd was Gurgu erupting (although it didn't make sense that it was blue at the time...) and 4th was a mountain range... in which Gurgu was probably in. But now I think that the whole background = character death thing works for me. Seems right. The 2nd one is when RM had that Napalm Demon dream, I believe. 3rd COULD be the Hadoken at viewer thingie... the 4th is obvious 2 be WM's stained robes. 1st... well, most likely still Gurgu. Which would mean BB. So the only two alive (if they're all presumed to be dead) would be BM and Fighter. This conversation however seems to be quite awkward. Its hard to distinguish the characters. Here's the thing. The first part sounds like BM (if assumed to be the first speaker) talking to Fighter, I can see Fighter saying that stuff, if gone through character development first of course... but the second one (including the text on the side of it) doesn't sound like Fighter. "Are you trying to goad me?" I don't see Fighter saying that. WM on the other hand... 3rd.. maybe Fighter could've said it, and BM is replying that Fighter finally understands that BM always wanted to kill him. 4th panel with WM robes? Fighter... maybe, but I don't see him thinking about its funny. And what did Fighter "do like that" that is so funny... I'm sure we can come up with a reasonable answer... |

The "do like that" thing was, infact, sticking BM to the front of the Deathtrap in the final pannel.
Honestly, after reading all the debates, I still can't see it being anyone but Fighter. And don't think Fighter doesn't know big words. He does. As shown here. -> http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=041111

Yeah. I actually compared the text boxes, since brian seems to have placed importance in that. WM's text box is very pink, with a light pink border. It's not hers. Sarda actually has yellow boxes. The fade pattern on the interior of vilberts is not the same, plus he has a blood colored border. Princess sara also has the blood colored border. (Blood being a mixture of black and red pixels, making a really dark red.) RM- same fade pattern, but sorry. the outer border of RM's is too dark, again, blood colored. I could only find one set of fighter monologue boxes, and the fade pattern is similar, and the border is identical. It's probably fighter. I won't rule out the possibility of thief's voice changing with his class, but it's redundant. Brian himself scratched him off the list of possibilities.

Ok, Whilst I agree with alot of the points your making Bolvar, your putting waaaay to much trust on Brian. Look at what he said. He doesn't say "Its not WM", He says "Pink isn't red". Its enough to convince me that its probably not WM, but not enough to put it beyond all relms of possibility. Technicaly if her voice style changed, that wouldn't be pink either.
Or did I miss a post?

It's certainly not enough to convince me the colors are supposed to be taken at face value as indicators to the speakers' identities. . .

I think that this kind of proves something...
