Twighlight zone kinda thing happenin' now. How, for sure, does anyone know he was red? I mean we got the digi-books, but what if those are altered for the twisted enjoyment of one individual? How do we know that clevinger isn't some sort of giant brain screwing with our memories?
You don't.

Personally, I feel that this sort of really really alienated anyone who hasn't seen the original version of the previous comic. The whole bit would seem pointless and confusing...
Onto more plot-related issues, what do you think is happening to BM, if anything? Does his class change physically hurt him? Maybe he doesn't get a class change here. Maybe thief sold out his class change to raven, which would be a less than surprising thing for him to do. Maybe thief gave up his own class change, but stole BM's from the future. What we see happening in this comic is the moment where thief grabs it away from BM. All fine reasons for raven to be taking to bahamut. |

By the way, kudos to writing something that Brian replied to. Even though you may have been wrong, your post had a point, unlike many, many others. Quote:
P.S. Sir Brian, please put 500-600 in PSP format! |

While I'm here, though, I'll add a few comments. First of all, I like Thief's black look. Secondly, I liked his red look, too. Yes, the lawninjas wear red, and yes, it is quite...pathetic...on them-but Thief looked quite good in the red. I do believe the black/grey fits him better, but I don't know that I prefer it. Probably the one thing that makes it more appealing to me is that, as was already stated numerous times by numerous people, we already have two red-clothed Light Warriors. So I'll be happy with the black, and not complain about the change, though I did like the red as well. In an attempt to finish this up in as few words as possible, this portion was constantly edited, and now takes the form you see below. And, on another note entirely...Wetflame, you're a redhead? *bows down to Wetflame* Slight exaggeration, obviously. Though I don't know that I could say that I'm the number one fan of redheads, I am a big fan, of both male and female redheads. I find red hair to be very aesthetically pleasing as well as in a number of instances highly attractive; but the two are neither mutually exclusive nor inextricably entwined. I will say it is my opinion that it is more extraordinary on females, but I still believe red hair is rather fantastic regardless of gender. |

Yeah, but if he really didn't like the color, I'm sure he would have done something about it by now. I'm saying him pawning the whole thing off as BM's perspective isn't exactly flawless. It seems too sudden... Quote:

I belive the Perspective story, even if it is to quench my curiosity. And easing into it would be no fun at all.

Well, it looks like Cukeman was...semi-right...after all. Forgot about #164 for a second there...all right, several minutes, same difference. But magnificent bastard is a Seinfeld reference, for those who missed it...and it's been used for quite a long time now for various situations. So I guess forget about that part of my previous post. *goes off continuing to search for the episode where Thief steals things that are bolted down*
Edit: I didn't mention it so that someone would find it for me, I said I was looking for it, and I found it, as well. I do appreciate your going to the trouble to find it for me, though. I know there's a thread specifically for the purpose of finding threads. I just mentioned it because I've said everything that I feel I need to say for this thread, and I was trying to make that point. Aka, I decided to go do something else. I'm done discussing it, you guys have fun with it. As for the edit, I find it more fitting than just a postcount++. Double edit: Then we were both right. So I wonder if Brian was thinking magnificent in #164, but used cunning instead, for some odd reason; since he used magnificent in #201. But in any case, I guess it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. Last edited by Vision; 01-24-2006 at 04:15 PM. |
