Truth be told though, it did take away some chaos, since it appears that it basically took away the leviathan.

From a physical chemistry stand-point, most likely. However, this is in the realm of how the world functions as far as magic goes. It doesn't feel in anything, except calm and soothing. How the hell a weapon feels like that, I don't know. But it pretty much just is concentrated control, so it won't be cold or hot or anything like that. Just kind of pale and luke warm.

Oh, and you'd be surprised how much Domonic Deagon principles actually help out in real (academic) life. For example, in English class when went over Antigone, the teacher asked about what we think of despots or tyrants, being people who take power by unorthodox means. The concepts of contrasting natures that is chaos and order got an interesting look from my teacher on this subject.

To sum it up, read web comics, you learn things.* And yes, part of the order magic thing did come from Dominic Deagon.

It all started because a) Faust needed to know more, as he had learned everything he could in the mortal realm, and b) God challenged
'the demon' (whose name changes depending upon the version) to corrupt Faust. Goethe's version is the most famous retelling, including the demon Mephistopheles.

Marlowe, being a psychiatrist, probably butchered it into something having to do with psychology instead of the dichotomy between good and evil with Dr. Faust being caught in the middle.

I'm sorry. Having CT materialize chips and salsa out of mid-air was a bit godmoddy and unbalanced. But it is on my character sheet that if CheshireThief wants something badly enough, it happens. Go team. It's funny because I'm in the RP but not involved at all.
