One, I meant the cahoots part as a joke;you being in contact with one another could be as simple as him having a role, and you mentioning it while responding to his role being sent in via AIM or similar
Two, we had been talking about the police officer posting their search results upon discovering that they were dead. I understand that the police officer would still be dead, but if they can't say anything meaningful, what's the point of last words?

And did IHMN just make two different votes, with only four posts between them? With no actual reason for either?

I understand that I'm acting a little suspicious. Hell, IHMN has decided to try to lynch me for the sake of "everybody else was doing it!"

That's exactly how the mafia won the last game. By getting votes to snowball before people have thought it through.

Actually, IHMN has a good point. Just sitting around FoSing everyone doesn't get the mafia lynched. But, on a completely different note, and the one I'm going on, is that people like you, IHMN, are dangerous. It's an idea like that that, whist it does eventually get the mafia, it also takes out too many townies and townie-aligned special people. This early in the game, we can afford it, but later? Not so much.

Well, I am glad that people are finally voting.

Also, it should all be random lynches. You can never have proof. For instance, let's say that I am a mafia member, and I get lynched. Now, if you voted for me, one would assume that you are not a mafia member. Of course, people will suspect that it is a set up, so they will suspect the people who did vote for me. Some one will accuse some one who doesn't post often with either of those two ideas in their heads. Then, that person will defend themselves. Well, now that they defend themselves, they are even more suspicious.

Also, if you are afraid of the snowballing votes, why vote for a snowballer? Wouldn't you want to get rid of the person who starts it? Of course, those are the people who accuse the snowballers, so they won't get lynched. That's how Jer was lynched, a few people started accusing him of being dangerous because he voted a lot, then the majority voted for him. He was is in no way dangerous. In fact, you should have kept him, since he would have been a good pawn for you 'logical' townies.

Also, you are afraid of killing townies, but the cult is always getting more of them.

There are 18 total players. 4 mafia and 2 cultist. Lynch a random person, 1/3 chance that they are against the town. Random is also better then trying to figure out who isn't a townie, since 1/3 of the posters will be swaying the public opinion. If it's random, they lose that advantage. And of course, you can't figure out anything from posts.

The flaw with radnom lynching is that how do you choose the random person to lynch? You can't trust anyone.

Out of curiosity, can we request a random number from the GO?

FoS: IHMN just for the sheer irony. But not really. But still FoS. Seriously, how else are we going to try to figure something out and win? Posts are the only thing we have to go on, and trying to win requires looking for any hint or loophole. Don't join it if you think it's stupid.
