OK, dare I ask what YACC CROP IMP is? Or am I going to be called horribly ignorant for this?

No real answer? That's OK. Some questions can't be answered, and your joke rocked, as far as I'm concerned. Last edited by Lucis; 04-06-2006 at 10:04 PM. Reason: I've now edited this more than 10 times, most of 'em for the sole purpose of changing this message. |

The little girl playing with Sally needs to learn that if you suspect a poltergeist, leave it the hell alone. Seriously, your best bet when dealing with an object that seems to move of its own accord when it shouldn't be capable of it, is to not touch or look at it; just call an exorcist and walk away. Unfortunately, she's now seen the empty, bleeding sockets of ultra-disturbingness, and if horror movies have taught me anything, that means she's as good as dead. Oh well, here's hoping her karma was good prior to death.
I guess it's a necessary evil - if everyone who encountered disturbing spirits, psychotic people, and ancient evil relics used common sense in how they reacted, we wouldn't have much of a horror movie, would we? |

EDIT: I made a new normal banner-sized banner. Smaller, more compact, for all your day-to-day advertising needs!

This reminds me of nothing so much as PBF.
And that's a compliment, by the way. If you hate that strip for some reason... Well I doubt you hate it. Then again, stranger things have happened. Like tuna. The Wandering God |

This comic is much, much more funny. DFM is awesome. Much like some people I know. ... what? Don't look at me!

PBF actually has sort of an underlying comedic logic and theme to it. A lot of it is just contrasting the innocent with the profane and the sincere and serious with the silly, or to put it another way, it takes the fantasy of a world in which we all to one extent or another want to believe and imposes on that world the rules of our own harsh reality.
YACC CROP IMP is just... I'm not saying there's not some sort of underlying rhyme or reason, I'm just saying whenever I try to figure out what that reason is, my fucking eyes start bleeding.
