Thief spoke too soon...
I would have to disagree with Sarda about his wisdom though, I mean what kind of wisdom involves the same kind of acts King Steve would perpetrate with a half a brain? Fighter just journeyed into "too-much-information-for-Sarda"land, I think.
"Mysterious, narratively vital task" has an Order of the Stick-ish ring to it.

So Bm's just gone quiet, I wonder what his first words will be?
I'm going to go with his mind being broken into a thousand pieces and his first words are something along the lines of "Red Rum, Red Rum" or "nekodah!" or various bizarre non-sequiturs.

It's probally going to be something completely and utterly normal. Like... "I'm hungry."

People need to stop talking to Fighter, it's only going to lead to confusion or hearing something you didn't want to.

I love the quote, "Can I talk to anyone else?" I guess this comic just shines with excellent quotes!

And bittersweet feelings about the next quest being up. Still, from what I remember playing the game, they have to really go through some loops before they can actually get atthe water orb. Not to mention wresting it from the the midst of "a legion of gurgling horrors forgotten by the light."

And is it just me, or is the the longest stretch of comics where there have been no breaks from the LW? Last time we cut away was with the DW and the class change, right?

So, do you think we'll jump right into the next quest, or cut-away for a little while? Now would be the best time probably.
At least, that's what I would do as a writer.
The Wandering God

EDIT: Reading the comic title actually seems to be a reference to the cult that was in the ice cave. "Same abominations, different quest." Well, what are the only abominations we've met so far. And, of course, tentacles on their face.

Also, since a certain cult which shall remain nameless, even though it's quite obvious what I'm talking about, has been really fucking go over the line recently, it'd be a nice chance to poke a stick at 'em.

Or not. Cause, ya know, it's Mr. Clevinger's story. And I'm quite happy with that.
