Does he now? He thinks she's hot. He compulsively hits on her. If he met any other girls in the comic we could maybe determine if this has anything to do with her being herself or her being a girl.
He thinks he loves her. Has he even had a conversation with her? Does he know her? Does he know what it's like to love someone, does he have a reference point? He loves her like an eight year old kid having his first chrush, I'd say. And eight year old boys tend to punch girls they are in love with. :P

as hes aiming for fighter i think wm will push fighter out of the way to try and save fighter.. we know wm cant resist saving people

My guess is that she'll *wacko* BM in mid air, sending him flying through the deathtrap. And then fighter'll say somethin like: "see? he's not in the store room."
btw, it seems BM has gotten smarter. We all remember the "No I'm not undressing you with the power of my mind!" "phew, she doesnt suspect a thing..." Even fighter sensed the stupidity in that one. This was a good comic. Fighter's idiocy has drawn out Black Mage. There's no way that crazy maniac would stab White Mage for any reason at all.

Well, did he consider these NPCs from a genus perspective? I mean did he care that they were female? NPCs may not even have genders, they're just generic people.
