And I am likely to be the first of the townies killed. That's the price of a legend I suppose. Or maybe just the price of being a doublecrosser.
When Sithdarth approached me with Mesden's offer, I thought it through to its logical conclusion. By agreeing I could force every single threat to the town to reveal themselves. Deeds of renown are something I am quite fond of.

The town win is now inevitable. We have a list of all the threats. We also have a majority. Unless there's a lynch redirecting secret role working for the cult, we win.
EDIT: Added clarification EDIT 2: The lynch redirector likely doesn't exist. Otherwise Mesden would have just used that to redirect her lynching onto a townie and gained cult majority with the night kills.
