This rings a bell. A rather large dongly one. I used this exact same excuse in a game a while back for why I didn't post untill day 3. So either you've reasearched previous games and found an excuse that worked well (I was mafia that time I think), or else you have sucky wirless and I'm paranoid. I feel for you man. Wirless can suck sometimes...

First off Steel Shadow, Silly Kitty (SK) is the GO, second we cannot discuss the game using outside forms of communication, I don't believe telling someone you won't be online constitutes talking about the game outside the game.

No problem at all. If you've got a problem with anything that's going on, or if it looks degenerate, voice yourself calmly about it.

I've been trying to watch whatever tone I have over the internet and respond to Ecurt logically and without one thing that's insulting, but at best disproval of what he's saying.

Basically, working along the point of the game. To accuse and defend, makes up the whole, but do it in a calm, and reasonable manner.

It's almost like discussion forum, in its own way.

Oh, and I think Hax Mage hit the outside communication dead on. It wasn't discussing the game, just informing SOMEONE that you can't be here at the time to defend yourself/justify your previous accusations.

Actually, I can usually spot which role Mesden has based on how she is playing, as I have proved a couple of times, but I have decided not to simply reveal her role straight off simply because that would be totally unfair to her, since it would mean a day 1 or day 2 death every time, no matter the role. I will however say that I think Ecurt is barking up the wrong tree.

Additionally, Demonlink was on my list of suspicious people, and also on the list of bandwagoners.

I encourage people to look at his posts.

It's like, everyone else knows me as much as I do! XD

Anyhow, Newb, if you have some "I know EXACTLY who Mesden is" ability about your natural person, then leaving a hint like, "Hey! She's not scum, like you're saying", albeit a bit more subtley, isn't much better than saying, "Mesden's a townie/town role" you know?

Learn from Marius, though, passively and unintentionally, he led to the town winning XD.

I said nothing of other scum roles. And no, by saying this, I am not saying that Mesden ain't a townie, only clarifying that I only discounted one position, not all scum positions, and saying that Ecurt has no such reading ability, so don't listen to him.

And I did pin you with the vanilla townie and the second time you were CL, so you may want to think about just how readable you are.

Please, use proper spelling and grammar, please. It's not a rule to have good grammer, but it is looked favourably upon by the rest of the NPF community.

As to why they want to lynch you? They are either going on a gut feeling, or they interpret your inactivity as a ploy. Either way, the only thing you can do now is hope that people don't bandwagon, and that you explain and debate (politely though), and show some activity in this game. Otherwise, you are screwed.

As for the Mesden thing I said earlier, I'm still very suspicious. Mesden is an enigma in this game, and a definite wildcard in a game where we do not know her role. However, she is playing like she always does.

I think that when she stated about circular logic, she was counting on the other games to be accounted for where she and Sithdarth had wonderful debates. As true as Sithdarths numbers may help her, he is one of the only people who has really gone toe to toe with her about these issues. In this game though, it looks like Ecurt has taken it upon himself to disprove her. I feel I have to side with one of them as they both make outstanding points. However, I'm going with my gut, using Sithdarth's death as my sword and Circular logic as my shield and siding with Ecurt. I don't qustion Mesden's scuminess.

Reading through the early posts in this game, the one person who really stands out to me as a suspicious is Nikose. The way he seemed to try to read the general sentiment towards a player, and vote for that person seems scummy to me. He voted seriously for IHMN after everyone was giving IHMN flack for his dumb ideas, then he voted for Mesden when she seemed like a ripe target.

I know he's gone for a while, and I wish him all the best in recovering from whatever happened, but I think he's someone we should be watching closely once he gets back. Unfortunately, that doesn't help with this Day very much.


I'm still very suspicious of Demonlink2. He never explained his slip in post #76. He based his initial reaction to Newb's list on the assumption that Newb thought he would want Sithdarth gone. Newb only thought he was one of the people who, if scum, would want Sith gone. I think the slip shows that he is scummy, and misread Newb's post because of it.

So until he explains himself I'm going to Vote: Demonlink2
