The Obfuscated One
|
KP>KP
Arhra>Roy>Fauck Gaurd>bookworm>Fauck demonlink/hax/cephrir/ryander/cid>Newb>demonlink So, now two of the people on my list have voted for me at various times. Arhra and Demonlink. Maybe I shoulda listened to IHMN in the first place and placed my first vote against Arhra, considering how suspicious this is. And also: Day 1: intro post. subtly makes fun of the temp ban thing, votes for roy due to "lack of presence" Day2: congratulates IHMN, voted for Mesden who had dropped, later editted to remove that. asks about a role, votes for someone who is "here". Nikose, AKA, Mr. Hospital goes back to original vote, for Roy. originally due to "lack of presence" "finally manages to get up to date" and removes his vote from Roy, and votes for me, apparently because I had the second highest vote count on day 1. now who exactly "lacks presence"? vote: Arhra

A list of various peoples who have aroused my suspicion:
Newb: Newb has spent most of this game supplying a variety of different, completely unrelated theories on who may or may not be scummy. Each of his arguments is, valid, but they all go against one another. Is he trying to deflect attention from himself, or does he simply have a lot of gears spinning up there? Demonlink: Now, Demonlink has had his eyes on Newb most of the game. Assuming Newb is a townie that simply does a lot of thinking, removing him by inciting a town vote against him would be a very efficient move for scum. Not to mention he was one of the first to begin to bandwagon Fauck, a player who a mafiate would figure was most likely a townie. Mylote: Roy has lain low most of the game. His arguments have been fickle and he distrusted Fenris who we know now to have been a townie (R.I.P.). Again, he was quick to move with a random vote, then quick to switch to Fauck when it became the popular opinion. Arhra: Arhra has played most of the game under the wire, much like Roy. With a very flippant track record for voting, he makes his votes try and appear to be innocent and random while still moving with popular opinion. Not to mention he has a habit of voting for people who aren’t present to defend themselves, as has already been pointed out First off, I recognize that I have criticized people for bandwagoning on Fauck, something I am guilty of myself. But when I arrived, there was little I could do, but these incidents occurred early down the line, and thus warrant some suspicion. Now, all four of these people have been at each other’s necks. This could mean that only one or two of them are actually scummy, perhaps they are all scummy but part of different classifications of scum (see: cult), or maybe they are all soddin’ mafia and love to confuse me! So, for now, I am going to take my little list, and make a shot into the dark based on gut feeling. Vote: Arhra |

Just here to tell you all that I'm back (IF you're not keeping track of the Public Announcement Thread that is). And I must say, We've gone through day 1 in less than a week. Congrats guys.
EDIT: After reading through MOST of this thread and seeing that Newb is still in this game, I'm going to FOS: ARHRA FOS: NEWB Arhra for voting for 1 person who was out of the game already and was out for quite some time too before he voted. Just shows that he's missing information and either is A) not keeping track of the game, or B) Conveniently forgot. From the looks of his explanation, I'm leaning more towards A. I'm disregarding his vote on Nikose because although Nikose is absent, he still has every right to vote for Nikose, be it fair or not. Newb, You just seemed too sure she wasn't a mafiate back there on page 4 (40 posts per page). And honestly, I'm not buying into the whole "I can tell what role Mesden is" stuff. The same thing could be said about me and finding the cult leader. The last 2 games I was in, I was in the mafia, and I convinced the mafia to target the Cult Leader in both those games on Night 1. Does this mean I KNOW who the cult leader is? No it doesn't. I just had 2 lucky guesses both times I was in the mafia in targetting the Cult Leader. Just as much as the two times you guessed Mesdens role it could very well have been a lucky guess. ALSO, VOTE: NEWB DOUBLE EDIT:Changed "some" to "most" in first sentence of edit.

It seems Newb and Arhra are the most suspicious people at the moment. I'm going to Vote: Newb for the same reasons I said near the end of Day 1.

Well, I believe I have caught up to most of the things that have been previously going on in this thread, and am now ready to actually contribute something useful.
So far I've seen quite a few things that have perked my interest, mostly coming from a couple of sources. The first thing that really attracted my attention was Newb's list of his thoughts on the seven potential scum, especially when he labeled himself and KP as the non mafiate kill roles. We obviously now know that KP is not the Serial Killer, since we got lucky and lynched faukernaup yesterday. Another thing that stuck out too blatently to me was the fact that he "knew" Mesden was not mafia. But when I look at those few things together I'm not neccesarily seeing scum totally dripping off of them, though they are very close. Now the on the other hand, Arhra, he does seem to exude scum for some reason. I've played in a game before with Arhra and to me something just seems different about him this time. As well his attacks upon two people who aren't here, then followed by flipping his vote around this way and that some more. So therefore I will, Vote: Arhra I think he is scum, either cult or mafia. Edit: Changed two to few, edit in italics. Last edited by Ole' Dude With the Face; 08-12-2006 at 03:28 PM. |

Okay, I have seen the case against Arhra, and while it does make me suspicious, I'm still more convinced by the argument against Newb. Is that better? We can always lynch Arhra tomorrow if we want.
