And yeah, so I was wearing my sunglasses outside because I'd been wearing them all day, and just forgot to swap them for my normal glasses when I put my jacket in the cloakroom. This meant I had a choice between barely being able to see anything in one of the World's dimmest nightclubs with my prescription sunglasses on, and not being able to see anything at all because I am blinder than a bat on meths with its eyes poked out. I don't normally have my lightweights buttoned up like that, but it was just that sort of night. You know, the kind where there's a fantastic, energetic band on and everyone stands around looking mildly disintereted because if they moves do much as their little finger to the beat they'd be out of the clique and somehow no longer cool. Or maybe you don't. *shrug*. Either way, that's my excuse for looking like such a ponce.

There isn't really a reason why I'm wearing some sort of camo gear in all those photos, though. It's largely coincidence. Pisctures of me outside of my camo gear and, for example, expounding on the virtues of real ale do exist. They just don't seem to happen as often.

*by "more awesome" I mean "more like me, because I am supremely arrogant." Any genuine objective measure is another thing entirely, but personally I enjoy being me significnatly more than I would enjoy being, for example, you, so that's a good enough definition for me.
